How can we keep our incoming that have been assigned/tagged to a folder and have them remain there instead of duplicating in the inbox?

Example: I created a folder labeled "Upcoming Closings". This folder is for emails about closings that are coming up that do not yet need to be assigned to another person but will need to be eventually. How can I stop my ticket from moving to another inbox once I assign it to myself?

When I assign a ticket to myself it moves it to another inbox and it didn't do this before the new update. Is there a way for me to go back to the old format?
