What do you like best about Blackthorn Events?

The guided setup and ease of publishing an event is fantastic and quick to implement. If you're willing to be open minded and flexible in your expectations, getting Blackthorn up and running takes as little as a day and you can have top quality event registration processes in place ready for teams to publish events on a public format.

If you do not have a strong internal IT prescence you can publish events using the native Blackthorn offering and have the customer experience be top quality without the effort required to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blackthorn Events?

The lack of flexibility in terms of user experience (e.g. if you don't want your users to see the sessions tab) and the release frequency is too frequent. A monthly release which involves testing, fixing anything that's broken and deploying is proving to be a point of concern for customers, particularly when the customer support will seldom help unless you're on the latest release.

The documentation in terms of an onboarding/implementation process is too complicated and disconnected at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blackthorn Events?

The easy way to setup an event and publish in our brand makes it a no brainer.

What do you like best about Blackthorn Events?

I have looked for an event planning platform for years. Our events are not complex but are very custom. No other platforms were able to make my life easier. Blackthorn has! The salesforce integration is just the cherry on top. The training was easy, customer service was top-notch, and responses were quick. Building our event pretty much however, we want without having to do workarounds makes the difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some backend work needed to be completed for me to be able to do what I needed. It was a little extensive, but it helped me with my SF knowledge, so I am happy with that portion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blackthorn Events?

After just completing the full implementation and onboarding cycle with the Blackthorn team, I can confidently say that it was an easy and user friendly process. The onboarding team was very helpful throughout the process. We were able to go live within 30 days of kickoff. As a consultant I have implemented numerous apps and this was one that I found to be pretty straightforward. The integrations with salesforce are easy to navigate and the data captured is easily reportable. Looking forward to using the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blackthorn Events?

There are an overwhelming amount of objects. They are all straight forward so it is easy to learn, but at first glace there are a lot of objects to navigate and understand their relationships to one another. From an artichect / consultant perspective, I would have liked to see an ERD prior to getting hands on with the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
