The guided setup and ease of publishing an event is fantastic and quick to implement. If you're willing to be open minded and flexible in your expectations, getting Blackthorn up and running takes as little as a day and you can have top quality event registration processes in place ready for teams to publish events on a public format.
If you do not have a strong internal IT prescence you can publish events using the native Blackthorn offering and have the customer experience be top quality without the effort required to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The lack of flexibility in terms of user experience (e.g. if you don't want your users to see the sessions tab) and the release frequency is too frequent. A monthly release which involves testing, fixing anything that's broken and deploying is proving to be a point of concern for customers, particularly when the customer support will seldom help unless you're on the latest release.
The documentation in terms of an onboarding/implementation process is too complicated and disconnected at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback, including some areas where we can improve. If you're open to it, I'd love to meet with you to gather some more detail on the pain points you've raised and make sure I really understand the impact to your organization - even if we've spoken before. I'm at katie.campbell@blackthorn.io.
