I am very impressed by CustomGuide's eLearning content. It is put together in a straightforward, practical way that gives the user plenty of simulated experience with the application they are learning about. I recently took their course on Excel Advanced and was able to successfully learn about some of Excel's more complex features, such as pivot tables and pivot charts. I was recommended to opt CustomGuide Microsoft training sessions by a known friend of mine. Self-testing your knowledge and understanding by taking quizzes is an excellent way to learn faster. I really enjoyed the structure and format of learning by reading, watching, and practicing by myself. As well as the UI/UX interphase, which makes the experience of taking the course move smoothly while keeping a good record of my progress. I am very thankful because I was able to fulfill many knowledge gaps that I still had about using MS Excel. As a suggestion: I think it would be good for users to be able to adjust the syllabus (required lessons) based on my real-life application. For example, if I am planning to use this software for businesses only, I would like to have the flexibility to take the specific lessons focused on my final application only, while the rest of the content would be still optional but not required for getting the final certificate. All the training materials I need are created for me and simple to use. I used to spend countless hours making my own courseware manuals and they never turned out as nice as these. I just have to open the book and teach from it without needing a bunch of prep time. I also really like that I have the Word docs so I can tweak lessons or resequence content as needed. Other learning management systems add complexity where it isn't needed. CustomGuide's LMS is very straightforward and doesn't go crazy with bells and whistles that never get used. I turned to Custom Guide tutorials when a student intern needed to learn some excel basics and I had no idea how to start teaching Office products. I was so familiar with the interface from years of regular use, I found it challenging (and time consuming) to train someone at a beginner level. I referred the student to Custom Guide’s tutorial videos and they found them to be useful, clear, and easy to translate the directions for applied work. The short videos by labeled by task are the perfect tool for teaching specific skills needed for a product.
