"CaptivateIQ gives me full clarity on my commissions and payments"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

As an Account Executive, one of the things I value most about CaptivateIQ is the transparency and accuracy in tracking my commissions month after month. I can see in real time how much I’ve earned and what I will receive in my upcoming payments, which helps me plan my finances better. The interface is very intuitive, and the ability to view a detailed breakdown of my payments gives me confidence that everything is correctly calculated. Additionally, the platform automatically updates with my sales, avoiding manual errors and ensuring that my commissions are accurately reflected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

Overall, the platform is excellent, but at first, it can take some time to get familiar with all the features. However, once you understand how it works, the system is very easy to use, and accessing information is quick and seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its intuitive interface simplifies commission tracking and management, while real-time insights empower sales teams and leaders to make fast, data-driven decisions. Plus, seamless integrations with other tools make CaptivateIQ a powerful and efficient solution for managing sales compensation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

One area where CaptivateIQ could be enhanced is in handling more complex compensation structures, particularly for organizations with intricate commission models. While the platform offers extensive customization, fully understanding and configuring all the settings can take time. Additionally, the reporting features could be more intuitive, as generating certain reports may require a deeper familiarity with the platform’s functionality. The platform's real-time data analytics and reporting features provide valuable insights, helping organizations make informed decisions and ensure transparency. What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

Initially, I found the setup and learning process to be somewhat challenging. It took a bit of time to get comfortable with all the features, especially since I'm not particularly tech-savvy. While I appreciate the platform's flexibility, I sometimes feel that the customization options can be overwhelming. Configuring specific needs often requires extensive support, which can be a bit frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Flexible, with a Learning Curve Worth Overcoming"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I think I liked that Captivate IQ is so easy to use and flexibility, particularly the intuitive, spreadsheet-like SmartGrid engine that allows the team to model and manage complex commission plans without needing code or consultants. This increased transparency and automation significantly reduces manual errors and provides me being the sales person with real-time visibility with my earnings and performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It takes a bit of time to get comfortable with the platform, I needed a training session just to understand the reporting, configuration and also the slow load times, but it is worth it at the end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CIQ Performance"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

#.The direct Data Connectors like Salesforce/Snowflake are very helpful.

#. The newly introduced Transformaton Workbooks are really helpful for performing the transformations, initially we used do these things in Data workbook sections.

#. The Option of Payroll Group in Payout Section saves a lot of time by selecting all the reps in a single click, though we have filters options in this sections.

#. Also, I like the feature of Exports where we can have the template of required plan and saved in that section, and we can pull the data easily by just selecting the payout date of respective month.

#. Publish workflow section is something which I am using the most and it really helps to send the statements in single go connecting to the required hierarchy. This saves a lot of time when sending the payouts the leaders/managers for review.

#. Smart Hierarchy option is just awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

The are couple things which I believe can be Improved in CIQ.

#. Filter Option in the Employee Assumptions (this would help put the filter on particular rep in more than 2000 reps).

#. If we mistakenly process the payouts for the month, we don't have the option to cancel it in the bulk. However, we need do cancel the payouts individually for single reps again and again.

#. In the Statement Design section, we can't link the data from Data workbooks sections, only Employee assumptions and Payout summary section data can be linked.

#. In the Inquiry section, we need to more types like in progress/Need a Approval etc.

#. We can't pull the data from payout section until and unless we process the plans. there should be someways where we can pull this data without reprocessing the plan.

#. We can't edit the Filter applied; we need to close it and put it again for new filter on the same column

#. Going to the Inquiry section directly from the payout section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

Visibility into my commission with integration into our CRM. CaptivateIQ makes the often frustrating process of commission tracking clear, fast, and empowering. For any sales org scaling fast or looking to keep their reps motivated and informed, it's a must-have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

If your employer changes compensation structures quarterly, the dashboard often does not reflect the quota attainment accurately. The HR team must update how our compensation is reflected on the dashboard for CaptivateIQ to accurately reflect it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless commissions"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I can view my commissions in real time, which means that as soon as a month or quarter ends, I already know exactly how much I have earned. This level of transparency is very reassuring. What I appreciate most is that I only need to log in—there’s no extra effort required on my part to check my compensation. :-)

Additionally, their customer support is excellent, and I rely on it daily. The integration was completed a few years ago at the very start, and since then, I have never encountered any issues with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

So far, I haven't encountered anything that I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Interface and Easy Access to Commission Info with CaptivateIQ"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

CaptivateIQ is very user friendly and has pretty nice UI. I am able to easily access historical information as related to my commission and take a look at upcoming commission payouts with ease. I also like that logging in via SSO is very easy so I don't need to worry about a lengthy process to get into my account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

Overall, I've had a positive experience with the tool and cannot think of anything specific that I do not like. If I had to be nitpicky, I would like to see maybe a mobile app for something on the go if there isn't one that already exists. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
