"Gusto is the best!!!"
What do you like best about Gusto?

What I appreciate most about Gusto is its remarkable ease of use. We depend on it roughly five times each month, and it consistently helps us stay organized and on schedule. I really value being able to handle reimbursements, commissions, and time tracking all within a single platform. Whenever I have a question, Gusto’s support team responds promptly and makes everything straightforward. Super ease of implementation for our support team and to check the residuals, ease of integration submitting the old payroll for different platforms. All in all, it’s a highly user-friendly platform that has significantly streamlined our workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

One aspect I find less appealing about Gusto is that some features can feel somewhat limited or lack the level of customization we would prefer. Occasionally, it also requires a few additional steps to locate particular information or settings. However, these are relatively minor issues when weighed against the overall ease of use the system provides in daily operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Payroll and Benefits Management with Outstanding Support"
What do you like best about Gusto?

“I like how easy Gusto makes payroll and benefits management. Everything is automated, user-friendly, and transparent—I don’t have to worry about missing tax deadlines or forms. The dashboard is intuitive, and their customer service is responsive and helpful. It saves me a ton of time and stress.” Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

In the past, we've experienced issues with the mobile app. Occasionally, when we clock in through the app, it records our time under a different time zone. This creates confusion for the payroll staff and means that adjustments have to be made afterward. This causes our management to discourage mobile app clock ins. "Gusto - One Stop Shop"
What do you like best about Gusto?

Aside from how user friendly Gusto is, my favorite part has to be all of the features included in the program. It is so easy to find tax documents/pay stubs. You don't ever need those documents until you do, and Gusto makes it very easy to find and print. I use Gusto everyday, even when I'm not scheduled, to keep track of my hours/holidays/PTO requests. The design is visually appealing. We have used Gusto the majority of the three years that I've been employed at this practice. There was an instance where we switched do a different program and it caused a huge uproar in the office. We all enjoy to see the infamous "pig" on our screens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I honestly do not have any "dislikes" about Gusto. Out of my whole working career this has been the best program I've used. No complaints. Good job! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Finally, HR that's easy for employees!"
What do you like best about Gusto?

As an employee at a small healthcare company, our "HR department" is really just our office manager who wears a dozen other hats. I've worked at places where getting a paystub or understanding your benefits was a total nightmare. Gusto is the complete opposite.

I can't say enough good things about how simple and clear they make everything. The best part is the dashboard. I can log in anytime and see a crystal-clear breakdown of my paycheck: exactly how much is going to my health insurance, my 401(k), and my taxes. There's no mystery. When tax season comes around, my W-2 is right there to download—no waiting or asking.

As someone in the healthcare field, good benefits are obviously a big deal to me. Gusto made our open enrollment process the smoothest it has ever been. I could easily compare the different medical and dental plans side-by-side, see what the per-paycheck cost would be, and make my selections right online.

Everything is in one place. I can request time off, see my PTO balance, and check my paystubs all from the same app, which is super clean and easy to use.

For a small practice, Gusto makes us feel like we have a polished, professional HR system. It gives me peace of mind and makes the "paperwork" side of my job incredibly simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

"Convenient Payroll and Benefits Management"
What do you like best about Gusto?

I love using Gusto because it significantly simplifies tasks related to payroll and tax filing. Having my tax information and paycheck stubs accessible online makes verifications for employment and pay information so much easier. The convenience of accessing my information from anywhere is a major benefit, as it allows me to keep track of everything related to my pay seamlessly. I particularly appreciate the complete breakdown that Gusto provides for each paycheck, detailing percentages for taxes, Medicare, and insurance coverage, which my previous employer didn't offer. This transparency helps me manage my finances with greater clarity and confidence. The initial setup was straightforward and simple, which made the transition smooth and hassle-free. Overall, Gusto perfectly meets my needs with its efficient and user-friendly design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gusto is a great choice for easy, streamlined payroll processing!"
What do you like best about Gusto?

I love that Gusto is simple and easy to use. The interface flows nicely and it always being tweaked. We use Crewtracks to track our field time, so with a simple export I can enter payroll totals in Gusto in just a few minutes. This works well with my tight schedule, especially on weekly payroll days! In almost 4 years of use, I haven't had to call Gusto more than a handful of times, but Customer Service is always quick to respond and very helpful as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

If I had to have a complaint, it would mirror what I already said. The interface is always being tweaked. Sometimes things are changed that I really wish they wouldn't change, not a deal breaker though! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One HR Solution That’s Intuitive and Effortless"
What do you like best about Gusto?

It is so easy to use, very intuitive. Everything is in one app, not 2 or 3 apps like I had to use prior to my company changing to Gusto. I use Gusto daily. Timesheet is quick to log time and take breaks. Pay section gives an overview of current and past pay. Paystubs are detailed and easily understood. Benefits are on 1 screen with pay period contributions displayed clearly for each. No need to search for or try to calculate how much my employer or I contributed. Time Tracking shows the pay period summary, daily hours and breaks, with regular, overtime and PTO hours separated. Simple to find past paystubs and time worked in previous pay periods. The Time Off section is straightforward with individual tabs for paid time off, yearly paid holidays, bereavement, jury duty. Requesting time off is uncomplicated to submit and lists all prior requests. The Documents page has tax documents, employee records and agreements all in one place and is easy to add or change them. Finally, I have never seen a Performance section in other applications. The dashboard houses prior evaluations, tracks my goals, and has a section to request and receive feedback from supervisors and co-workers. I've used Customer Support chat a couple of times and each person has been very knowledgeable and helpful resolving my questions and providing instructions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

It is frustrating when the app closes or logs out too soon. I wish it would remain open longer so I don't need to log in many times through the day. It would be helpful for me to be able to set up projects or tasks so I can track time for specific projects I work on. Currently, I must do that in a separate app, Clockify, that does not connect to Gusto. I read that a Gusto administrator is the only one who can assign them to a user. However, that is not feasible when I alone have 100+ projects/tasks, and my coworkers have as many or more. It would be impractical and impossible for the administrator to be required to set up hundreds or thousands of tasks for each user and possibly need to add new projects for a single user every day. It would be a fulltime job. It should be the user who can define and set up their individual tasks or projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Payroll with Gusto, Plus Early Access via Chime"
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like that Gusto provides phone access to input my time or request time off, making the process easy and efficient. This mobile accessibility is particularly valuable when I don't have access to my laptop, ensuring I can manage my time off seamlessly through the app. The app's user-friendly interface and efficiency stand out as significant positives. Additionally, the initial setup was effortless, supported by Gusto's team who ensured every detail of the transition was handled smoothly. This level of support made switching from ADP to Gusto a straightforward and positive experience. Overall, the convenience and support provided by Gusto greatly enrich my user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

Overall, I like Gusto, but one aspect that could be improved is the process for inputting time. Currently, it requires waiting for the data to be available before entering time, instead of being able to input time in advance. This can cause delays and inconvenience, especially in planning schedules and managing time efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Payroll Management with Gusto"
What do you like best about Gusto?

I really appreciate how easy it is to use Gusto. The platform is very intuitive, and I never experience any issues when navigating it. This ease of use is crucial for me as an independent contractor, and it has made managing my pay effortless. Additionally, the initial setup was incredibly straightforward, taking less than 20 minutes to complete, which is a testament to its user-friendly design. I particularly enjoy being able to easily check if my payments have been processed, providing peace of mind and financial security. Overall, using Gusto has significantly simplified my payment tracking processes, making it a hassle-free experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I dislike how Gusto handles pay dates around holidays. If a holiday falls during the weekday, Gusto sets the pay date to Monday instead of Friday, which delays my payment because my bank doesn’t release funds early. This forces me to wait three days to be paid due to a holiday, which can be inconvenient as I have my bills set to align with my paydays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Timekeeping with User-Friendly Gusto"
What do you like best about Gusto?

I love using Gusto since it has been incredibly user-friendly for me, making it very easy to clock in and out for work. This has streamlined the process of timekeeping significantly, which I manage regularly. I also appreciate the ability to make necessary corrections without hassle. The pay records provided by Gusto are awesome, allowing me to keep a clear track of my finances. Moreover, tracking the benefits I'm using at my job is made seamless with Gusto. The software works perfectly both on my PC and phone, providing a flexible use case depending on whether I'm at my desk or on the go. Another significant advantage is the straightforward and quick setup of Gusto, which made the transition smooth when shifting from Paycor, a product that didn't work well for us. Overall, my entire experience with Gusto has been positive enough to warrant a recommendation score of 10 out of 10 to friends or colleagues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

There is nothing I do not like about Gusto! I have never had any issues! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
