The service! GCPay's support is unmatched. The support team is readily available within seconds/minutes of a phone call or email, and resolution is never far behind. They're consistently the only partnership that excels in this area. In addtion to service, the ease of use and implementation at every tier makes GCPay an obvious choice. We have some issues, predominately surrounding retainage, with respect to our ERP integration but we've adapted to our limitations and have little overall complaints. The best part of GCPay is that it helps to close the gap between us as a GC and our subs. Submission and communication has become much more efficient. There should be a company setting on the GC side to allow the GC to reject a pay app and make edits to correct the pay app for the sub and let the sub confirm. From what I understand, the sub has to allow this setting on their side. Also, GCPay really should look at adding or buying out someone that has a prequalification module and a COI tracking module for the subs to make it more of a complete solution. I like that the subcontractor's SOV can be constrained to prevent unapproved items from being added. I also love that there are no math errors on the pay apps and the ease of syncing change orders and pay applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish I could unapprove pay applications on my own without having to contact GCPay for help. I think that GCPay should allow each company with admin rights to be able to unlink or unapprove certain items. I also wish I could change the retainage percentage on Subcontractor pay apps. We sometimes start out with a 7% retainage and then once the CHRO plan is approved we drop them down to 5%. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

GCPay is great for keeping all of our necessary documents in one place. Compliance documents are easy to require for subcontractors to have approved prior to being able to submit a pay application, schedule of values and pay applications are easy to read and see how far each sub is within their contract, and you can even track all your waivers for each payment too! Waivers are easy to upload and tag and can be digitally signed within GCPay. GCPay support team and FAQ site is also very helpful for internal questions, but also for sending FAQ links to subcontractors who aren't sure how to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish that we, as the general contractor, received an email when compliance documents were approved or rejected, not just when they are uploaded by the subcontractor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have implemented multiple platforms over the last few years and GCPay, by far, has been the best experience. Their team is incredibly helpful and their communication regarding new features is great. The product itself has been a game changer for our accounting department. There are a few limitations such as lien waivers are tied to specific billings so we can't get the system to generate a waiver for the total amount if there are multiple billings that month. I love that I can search by customer and see the quick view of the progress of the contract on the home page. I also love that their is a tab for waivers and compliance where we can check by what is outstanding all at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only complaint I have with GCPay is most of our customers do not show what we have been paid/what we have been paid. I would love to have a payment tab showing what invoices were paid out and which are pending. Also, would like for their to be a note section showing what is holding up payment if anything. Absolutely top-tier support, both in quality and culture. GCPay Support staff are punctual, responsive, knowledgeable, empathic, and diligent. They work well with Construction and IT folks alike.

Other distinguishing qualities include:

- User experience and an easy-to-learn interface for all types of users

- Administrative controls are clearly and sensibly organized

- Audit tools are effectively built and enable Administrators to follow who did what when across GC Pay

While I am cautious about adding new tools to the IT stack, GCPay's other qualities make this proposition an easy win.

The use of GCPay is easy to use and very userfriendly. Customers that utilize the program are easily able to navigate and compelte their actions required. The simplicity in itself is easy for all that use the program. I especially like the tiered vendor information that allows us to mitigate some risk by determining when our vendors are billing for materials purchased. This is VERY helpful. The functionality of the tiered vendor waiver is based on the validity of whether a tiered vendor is actually paid. This is not always truthful as to when tiered vendors are paid. This is based off an assumption that tiered vendors would be paid for the following AFP's request. If the waiver was able to be required at the next or following month's entry, this would be more realistic to the vendors we partner with on projects. Vendors would like to see how payments are made when not utilized through GCPay. Can payment information be shared with our vendors when payment is not processed through GCPay?
