## Hookdeck Reviews
  ### 1. Great Webhook Relay Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noah M. | Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

Best thing is the generous free tier. You get about 10,000 webhooks a month for free and then pay as you go after that.

It's a great service for home labbers or even SMB's that do not have a publicly facing server. We currently use it for a server to obtain web-hooks via hookdeck's cli service to avoid the need of having the server publicly available on the internet.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Wish there was maybe an integration with automation services such as n8n. To get the CLI setup is a little troublesome, especially when you have multiple running in one OS.

I had an issue with a loop sending over 1000 webhooks because they ended up being on the same url's. Some sort of preventative measures for loops would be a nice addition.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Serving as a webhook relay for private server.

  ### 2. Hookdeck Webhook Limits Due to Rotating IPs and Client Whitelisting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

What I truly value about Hookdeck is its robust routing capabilities and the intuitive way it handles environment management. It enables us to easily direct webhooks to various destinations depending on whether we're working in development, staging, or production. Having this degree of control makes it much simpler to test, debug, and gradually roll out integrations, all without causing any disruption to live systems.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

One aspect I find frustrating is the limitation around IP whitelisting. In our production environment, clients often require a static IP address from us so they can whitelist it on their end. However, Hookdeck’s cloud service uses rotating IPs, which makes it impossible to meet this requirement. While the self-hosted version does offer static IP support and addresses this issue, it also means I have to handle hosting and managing the infrastructure myself. This undermines the main advantage of using a managed service in the first place.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hookdeck allows me to reliably receive, route, and debug webhooks without the need to build that infrastructure on my own. The features like replay, environment-based routing, and request logging have saved me a significant amount of time and have made both my development and production workflows much smoother.

  ### 3. Reliable webhook infrastructure that just works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

The biggest thing is that it just works. Setting up webhook connections is straightforward - no confusing configuration or endless documentation to read through. The dashboard is clean and actually makes sense, which is refreshing compared to other tools I've used.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Not much to complain about honestly. I'm not a very Advanced programmer or computer guy, so being able to use this tool for my webs hooks has been super awesome

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I would get too many incoming web hooks at one time and it would cause issues with too many API calls per minute. Being able to queue or throttle the web calls has solve all these problems.

  ### 4. A Lifesaver for Dealing with Webhook Chaos

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

The ability to pause, inspect, and replay webhooks is by far the most useful feature. It gives us full control over incoming events, especially when debugging issues or dealing with unreliable third-party services.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

while the UI is clean, a few advanced settings could be a bit easier to find. But overall, these are pretty minor compared to the value it provides.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hookdeck is solving the pain of unreliable or hard-to-debug webhooks. We used to deal with missed events, flaky third-party integrations, and very limited visibility into what was going wrong. Now, we can easily monitor incoming webhooks, replay failed ones, and see exactly what payloads were sent and how our system responded. It's made our integrations much more stable and significantly cut down on debugging time.

  ### 5. Best Webhook observability tool out there. Can't live without it.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob W. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

How cost-effective it is and how easy it is to get up and running. The time to value is extremely fast and extremely high.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

I wish there could be an easier way for partners who are using Hookdeck a lot to set up multiple organizations that are free for clients and make it easy to go between them (as opposed to having to set up additional accounts).

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me get insight into the data that webhooks actually have, allowing me to throttle the speed in which I send those webhooks out, as well as the ability to re-fire webhooks.

  ### 6. Effortless Setup and Management, Incredibly Useful, Bit Pricy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

The ease of access to set up, modify and observe connections is extremely useful. Plenty of features and easily navigated.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Throughput pricing is a bit high. Pricing as a whole is pretty steep.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hookdeck lets us monitor our event driven architecture and easily configure all our integrations with third party services easily.

  ### 7. Scaling with Hookdeck

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

Full visibility into webhook events. I can replay events when needed, and takes away the stress of building and maintaining.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Adds another service I need to manage, budget and onboard for. For complex applications, Hookdeck is a fantstic tool but would likely rely on application logic for error handling for more straight forward use cases.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves the problem of unreliable webhook delivery. Without it, I’d have to worry about building and maintaining my own retry logic, tracking errors, and figuring out how to recover from missed events. With Hookdeck, failed webhooks are automatically retried, errors are easy to spot and debug, and I can replay events whenever my application is ready

  ### 8. Hookdeck initial experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matheus B. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

The resiliency provided is very helpful, so you don't need to worry about missing webhooks. Also, the ability to see the failed events, fix the handling, and retry those was crucial when integrating with our latest service provider.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

The user interface is a little bit complex to get started, but you begin to get used to it after some time

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling webhooks and notifications of handling failure

  ### 9. Really useful as a vibecoder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

I like that the app is really easy to understand and to work with, I don't have technical experience and I have been able to use it with no problems.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Maybe the price could be a bit better, but nothing critical.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us to test endpoints during the development.

  ### 10. It was great for listening to Stripe events. We only use a fraction of the features though.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben H. | Tech lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

Generous free tier.
Stable domain.
Pay as you go events.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

The error messages are truncated for the event delivery

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowed us to not use the latest stripe API version bc stripe cli was forcing us to use latest version.

  ### 11. A highly function, easy to use product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

We've just started our Hookdeck journey, but so far we are very pleased with the functionality and usability of the product.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

So far we don't have anything we are unhappy with.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using hookdeck to validate and route Shopify events.

  ### 12. Great Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin M. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

Managing webhooks is a pain. Hoodeck makes it easy

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

It is significantly more expensive that just processing webhooks yourself. Also filtering hooks what tricky.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It let's us process webhooks safely and transparently.

  ### 13. Very good alternative for a similar software like githup, but better!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taha M. | Founder, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

It allows me to connect my local site and something from online simply by creating a connection. A lot of features and Very easy.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Nothing in general, it is very easy to use and very helpful

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It alllows me to make conenction for data coming from multiple places into a single place, for easier data management.

  ### 14. Excellent service - especially for those that work with APIs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert S. | Co-Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

We've been using Hookdeck for all our projects involving APIs, and it has completely transformed the way we build apps for ourselves and our clients. With Hookdeck, we can manage everything in one place, simplifying our workflow immensely. Additionally, Hookdeck provides a built-in shortcut for communication between external APIs from different vendors, streamlining integration processes. It has become an indispensable tool for our business, and we highly recommend it to others to make their lives easier.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

From my perspective, Hookdeck can be challenging for beginners due to its user interface. There are several elements that could be improved to make it more beginner-friendly and accelerate the learning and implementation process.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When working with multiple APIs, the workflow can become very messy. Hookdeck simplifies this by providing a unique platform where developers can easily manage the entire flow with just a few clicks.

  ### 15. Great tool for my no-code toolbag

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul M. | IT Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

Hookdeck has become an essential tool in developing, debugging, and managing our webhooks. Our non-profit uses only cloud-based apps, and webhooks are our tool of choice for communication between them.

I can finally manage my webhooks. The ability to intercept, examine, redirect, and retry during development has been a huge benefit. Seeing a history of webhooks helps troubleshoot problems. Hookdeck brings incredible visibility, in full detail, to what is happening in the ether.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

It's not the slickest user interface... but "pretty" is overrated for developer software. It is getting better but overall I'd rather have functionality over cosmetics.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to debug my no-code integrations, examine and retry webhooks, and manage the entire process. Hookdeck gives me visibility to what is happening and allows me to debug and retry when problems arise.

  ### 16. Made understanding an intricate webhook infrastructure a breeze

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Genevieve L. | Senior Manager, Marketing Data and Technology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

It is a simple solution that has major impact. The UI itself mimics a diagram someone would create to describe their data flows and pipelines, and the idea of sources and destinations are terms one would use to describe webhooks to someone not familiar with APIs. Because of that, someone new to an organization or with little technical experience can come into Hookdeck and quickly understand how things are set up. I'm easily able to standup a new connection with little context.

In addition to its ease of use, the event gateway side of things significantly limits the errors and failures we're sending to endpoints by catching things before they're permanent. Allowing us to retry events and look at a history of events saves us time when troubleshooting as well.

They also have a great team who is able to support our needs.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

The team is small and scrappy which means some "nice to have" features are overlooked when launching new product features. On the flipside however, that means they're really receptive to the feedback as well.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They're creating clarity in the chaos of complicated webhooks and API management. This saves time, allows more people to adopt and understand process, and eliminates a lack of transparency that is fueld by technical abilities.

  ### 17. Makes development easy AND a dream for fault finding

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

Initially I chose Hookdeck to take care of all the headache of queueing and retrying webhooks between my systems running in different environments, meaning I don't have to write a bunch of code to do this.
However I was also surprised at how useful it was when managing the systems in production, the abilty to control, inspect and retry events made debugging and investigating user issues a dream, so much nicer than having to trawl through logfiles trying to re-construct a sequence of user events.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

There's so much in the platform that I'm sure I'm missing things, sometimes discovering features in the UI isn't as obvious as it could be.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have systems running in different environments, both cloud and on-prem and events are sent between them using webhooks, Hookdeck gives us a layer at which we can manage those connections without worry.

  ### 18. First Impressions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

I've been using Hookdeck both personally and within our company as an HTTP request cache. The setup process was straightforward, and when I faced any challenges, Hookdeck's support team responded quite quickly, usually within an hour via chat. Recently, I started adding filters to my connections, and the AI feature was quite helpful there, allowing me to get started without needing to delve into the documentation. Hookdeck currently gets around 180k events and requests per month. These requests are directed to multiple n8n instances based on the filters and source.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

I cannot find the setting to change the billing adress, I've already contacted the support a few minutes ago.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps our n8n instances to not get overloaded when hundreds or even thousands of requests get sent in a short period of time. Our usual traffic is well below 10 Events/second.
It also helps routing webhooks to different systems without having to change anything in the source app.

  ### 19. Remove all the stress from enterprise scale middleware

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

Our product is a B2B / B2E SaaS provider and we have a large number of customers who want to automate workflow automations & BI from a stream of webhooks. We initially provided this as a first party service but didn't want to commit an entire product team to managing all the ancilliaries like logging, replays, alerts, customer metrics, devops dashboarding, fanout routing ect. Then along pops Hookdeck with the entire featureset we were after. The setup was trivial and we onboarded production customers within the same day. It's really become a daily part of our Devops & Support team's life and has drastically increased the quality of support we are able to offer. To top it all off, we ran into an issue around webhooks this week that we falsely believed was Hookdeck related. Not only was their metrics & logging comprehensive enough to help us find the actual problem was in one of our first party services, but the Hookdeck team responded instantly to our support email and helped point us in the right direction. Not only is the product phenomenal, but the team behind it are deadset legends. I could not reccomend it more.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Over the time we've been using Hookdeck there have been a few features that we were really itching for including aggregate metric tools, and some filtering options on the logs. I'm happy to say all of these features have made it to the core product. The filter syntax is a little finecky for non-technical users, but the documentation is strong enough that it's more than suitable for Devs / DevOps.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

High availiability queues, webhook transformations, metrics, logging, replays, routing, filtering, smart retries, authentication, delays.
Honestly the featureset is super comprehensive and each month a new feature appears that I didn't even know I wanted yet.

  ### 20. This tool has been a life saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hugo A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

The powerfull filters and the scalability of Hookdeck helps me to drill on the actual data I need to pass on to other automation scenarios, helping me save a lot of money in other tools, like Make.com.
Also, the AI assistant feature helped me a lot when it comes to write te right filter - and when the AI doesn't nail it, the documentation doesn't lack any info.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

The only downside would be, maybe, a little steep learning curve - but assuming that you are already familiar with API's and JSON, it kind'a work out well.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hookdeck is filtering a lot of webhook notifications, allowing me to select exactly the ones I need to further processing, saving me a lot of resources in the way.

  ### 21. Hookdeck lets us sleep sound at night knowing our most critical infrastructural component is working

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

- It does exactly what it says on the tin.
- It's very intuitive, took just minutes to onboard.
- Once set up, it's a low-touch system that does not require monitoring.
- The customer support is top notch, addressing issues in hours.
- The Terraform provider allows you to integrate with the system quickly.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

- Hookdeck have recently rebranded the product as an Event Gateway, but are currently missing some features to be a full-fledged event gateway. The team however has taken all suggestions into consideration and are actively working on the missing features.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hookdeck provides event delivery guarantees for our event-driven system. It ensures our domain events, as well as 3rd party events (webhooks) are never lost and can be re-delivered even if our systems temporarily go down.

  ### 22. Hookdeck is a MUST have for API developers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lee S. | Principal, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

I do a lot of integrations. It seems like half my job is sending test data, checking if the system worked, fixing it, and then sending the same test data again. Hookdeck makes that SUPER simple. That's especially true when the "source" of the data is something complex, like a Jotform form or a Shopify transaction or a webhook event that isn't fired frequently. Hookdeck also lets me "fork" my events, so that I can have real events go to the production version and a new development version at the same time. When it's time to cut over, I only need to change hookdeck - no need to touch the event sources. P.S. I often use hookdeck in conjunction with Postman, and clients think I'm a wizard.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Only thing I'd add is an ability to edit the event information before resending. Sometimes I want to test slight variations in the scenario, and the way hookdeck is currently built I have to simulate a new event to get those variations. I can usually accompish that with Postman so it's not a show stopper, but it'd be nice to have an edit/retry option.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Record / Replay webhook events which are otherwise hard to simulate and test. Change destination for events or fork events to multiple destinations.

  ### 23. One of the best user-friendly UI to effectively capture events.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

The easy navigation and the simple steps to create connections to capture crucial events are some of the best features of Hookdeck. The ability to create and switch multiple connections at ease is what "hooks" me with Hookdeck. I use this software very often and integrate many of my apps because of its easy integration. Also, the customer support is top-notch.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Nothing significant so far, it's just very rarely you need to refresh the page to see the latest settings.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It reduces the effort in capturing the events and crucial data from different sources which has been a hectic job for me. It now saves my time which helps me focus on other important tasks.

  ### 24. A perfect fit for serverless. My clients no longer use Azure or AWS.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marko M. | Tech Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

I've managed queues and buses for years now, and I know how much work goes into re-inventing the same tooling every single time. They are hard to log, to monitor, set up, observe and debug. With Hookdeck I manage to set up series of queues in a very easy workflow, which makes me choose to use queues much more often. Previously I would always ask "do I really need a queue for this" now I just set up queues whenever i feel like it - in fron tof webhooks, async apis, microservice LBs etc. All my new projects are running on Hookdeck now and we've entirely replaced all RabbitMQ and EventBridge instances. Hookdeck has also developed a vibrant Slack community where we get support from the lead technical stakeholders, which means a world to me, as this is very much about having trust.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Since it is a new paradigm, it took me a while to convice other stakeholders that we can trust it, especially the super engineery types who never worked with queues and are hungry for needless complexity. It also took some trial and error to figure out if we need hookdeck in development. Finally I'm not too happy with the state of dev/staging/prod environment support, even though things seem to be getting much better.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I believe in simplicity and elegance in software, and after years and years of building, I would prefer a well-built tool over building it myself. This is percisely why my new projects are serverless and on Vercel. Hookdeck matches this paradigm super-duper well. I no longer need terraform repositories, AWS toolchains and complex event bus domain knowledge. I get to focus on building stuff, fully getting all the utilities of your standard AWS based Rabbit or EventBridge setup. Onboarding juniors is a breeze now as well, as it is easier for them to observe the system and understand it.

  ### 25. Very helpfull and insightfull site

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

The whole idea is great. I mainly use make.com to create webhook URLs and their log view is very limited. I use hookdeck so that I will be able to see logs and to solve issues I may have.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

At first, it wasn't very intuitive to me, and I had to search a bit and see videos on how to use it.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main issue it is solving is showing a wider picture of the log errors on my webhooks hosted on make.com. I can't see the webhook logs on make.com so I use hookdeck as a middle man, so I can see what are the issue I am encountering.

  ### 26. got the job done

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

it was quick and easy to get started, and it met the needs of my simple task in a matter of minutes.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

i assume that hookdeck can handle a lot of more complicated tasks than my own. there were many setup configurations that i had to navigate that didnt apply to me.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i needed to inspect a payload that was running from a public website. my application to receive the payload was running on localhost, so i did not have an endpoint to receive and inspect the payload. hookdeck enabled me to set up an endpoint where i could inspect the payload for its structure.

  ### 27. An incredible tool for connecting and testing APIs!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

I am currently using Hookdeck to test webhooks for developing our company's API. it was so easy and had support for a ton of authentication methods. I tried several other tools and honestly was blown away by what Hookdeck offers! I'm loving it!

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

It took me a minute to understand the interface. Wasn't that complicated, but as I tend to do, I jumped in without reading or learning anywhere. Didn't take long and I got the hang of it. Super Powerful!

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am working on developing our API platform and needed a way to standup a webhook without building something. Hookdeck was perfect!

  ### 28. Simple and great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiago F. | Gestor de IA, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

I don't know how to program, but even so, I managed to configure the system to my needs. I am getting a lot of benefit from it, as it optimizes the input in other systems.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

For some things, it is still necessary to use code, however, the internal AI itself can often solve it.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It filters messages (webhooks) before sending them to other systems that would charge for this flow.

  ### 29. Hookdeck allows me to see what I couldn't before.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alfredo C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

I work with IoT, which means connecting devices with different APIs depending on the technology, protocol, and communication layers. Hookdeck always ensures data delivery and greatly facilitates the monitoring of our platform's stability.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

I would like it to have a way to configure a /dev/null destination, something that allows me to just see what is coming in without forwarding it anywhere.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without having to code anything, I can monitor the input of my APIs and debug errors by receiving real-time alerts of failures in my implementations due to unconsidered cases. Additionally, I can obtain usage statistics that help me take measurements and size my solutions.

  ### 30. A must have when working with webhooks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mauricio R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 21, 2023

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

I have used it in multiple projects while setting webhook endpoints for different integrations. I have tried other tools but always come back to Hookdeck, it makes it super easy to develop webhook endpoints while working locally, has all the tools that I ever needed (and more), enabling me to iterate fast and debug without effort.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

It has so many options that sometimes it is easy to get lost in their dashboard.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows to work with local webhook endpoints, works as a proxy with superpowers so we can have a public url that is listening for the webhook events and forward them to a localhost endpoint. I fire it up everytime I need to work on a webhook endpoint locally, and I can inspect the payload, headers, replay the event, get typings for the payload, logs, etc.

  ### 31. Perfect to never miss a webhook

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

It really solves a pain we had, that we could potentially miss webhooks during a short dowtime.
Also the UI is neat and comprehensible. It's easy to visualise and retry failed events manually. I barely go to the dashboard goes it just works.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Honnestly, nothing so far, we are happy with the product.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hookdeck receives webhooks from external publishers, and it makes sure it's ingested by our systems. If a request fails (maybe we are scaling up under the load, or we had a small downtime), it will be retried a bit later.

  ### 32. Highly recommend HookDeck for being productive with webhooks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshay R. | Senior Staff Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

I'd highly recommend using Hookdeck over ngrox, cloudflare localtunnels for incoming local webhooks development. Because:

- The Hookdeck UI lets you inspect incoming webhook payloads, and replay them quickly during rapid local development.
- The Hookdeck CLI lets you have create multiple profiles for development - in case your
services work with multiple incoming webhook services (and you need to map them to different paths and ports).
- Very good search to get to the older webhook payloads and replay them. The developer experience is top notch.
- Its free for local development, with a one click signup process.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Nothing of note for me. I wish more developers. colleagues knew about it.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It drastically increases by productivity when working with incoming webhooks.

  ### 33. Effortless Webhook Management with Hookdeck: A User's Delight!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriella v. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

I am thrilled with my experience using Hookdeck—it has proven to be an invaluable tool in seamlessly handling webhooks from our website to our booking system. What sets Hookdeck apart for me is the comprehensive overview it provides for received requests and the flexibility to transform the code before forwarding the data. The ability to resend requests has become a crucial feature in my workflow, making it exceptionally easy to test subsequent information.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Not really a dislike but I need to get used to the new interface. I think it's better than it was before but sometimes it takes a little more time for me to find the right setting.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to send information from our website to our bookingsoftware.

  ### 34. Adds reliability, recoverability to our flows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

Doesn't try to do too much, and does what it does well.
Our use case is a 3rd party tool hitting our API, but our service is not 100% reliable. Hookdeck allows us to get notified of errors and "replay" those transactions that had issues.
It's great that "bulk retry" has a good filtering feature.
Also filters allow you to terminate or redirect calls.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

Add SMS alerts for failure - or allow us to catch a webhook.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have an unreliable destination and Hookdeck allows us to replay transactions.

  ### 35. Awesome tool to protect your webhooks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Norbert M. | Head of Software Division, Program Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Hookdeck?**

Hookdeck is a great tool to manage, monitor and protect your webhooks. As a developer, I have to manage many webhooks from many sites. With Hookdeck, you can handle it easily. It has many features, like authentication, retrying failed events, delay or transforming event content.

**What do you dislike about Hookdeck?**

I don't find any issue with Hookdeck. When I had a problem, the support solved it very soon.

**What problems is Hookdeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have to process many webhooks and Hookdeck could guarantee that I will receive all events, because if my server is crashed, Hookdeck will retry sending the failed events.

  ### 36. Great tool for webhooks
