One Injured After Cedar Rapids Shooting

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - The Cedar Rapids Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Saturday afternoon. The shooting occurred in the 6600 block of Kirkwood Boulevard Southwest just before 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Officers went to the scene after receiving a medical call for service. They found a person suffering from two gunshot wounds. The person was taken to a local hospital for what are thought to be non-life threatening injures.

After investigating, the police arrested 24-year-old Seth McGraw from Cedar Rapids. McGraw has been charged with Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury, Intimidation with a dangerous weapon, Multiple Drug-related charges, Trafficking in Stolen Weapons, Use of a Weapon in the Commission of a Crime, and Person Ineligible to Carry Weapons.
