How can academic freedom be defended?

Academic freedom is a cornerstone of a functioning democracy. A series of seminars organised by the KTH Faculty Council and the KTH Library explores how academic freedom can be defended, current trends in Europe and Sweden, and the role of universities in promoting democratic values.

Meet KTH during Almedalsveckan

Almedalsveckan (Almedalen Week) will take place in Visby June 22–26. KTH is organising and participating in several panel discussions and events. President Anders Söderholm and other KTH representatives will be present to contribute to the public debate.
