Biografie

Founded C-KAV, Coalition for Korean American Voters, the first English speaking community organization serving the Korean American community of New York City.

Lived with a Japanese family in Kyoto, Japan, and attended Doshisha University whilst exploring Zen meditation during junior year of college.

Attended Phillips Academy, Andover and Connecticut College receiving a double major B.A. in Asian Studies and Japanese Language and Literature.

Lived in the Buddhist monastery Wat Ram Peung, outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand, engaging in Vipassana meditation.

Completed M.A. in Spiritual Psychology at the University of Santa Monica.
