Alec Musser committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest with a shotgun on January 12, 2024, only three months away from what would have been his 51st birthday on April 11, 2024.

After his 13-week stint as "Del Henry" on All My Children (1970), the producers of the show were so impressed with the critical and fan reaction of his performance that they decided to sign him a full-term contract.

He was the winner of the second season of I Wanna Be a Soap Star (2004).

He was raised on the East Coast in New Jersey and Connecticut, and attended the Westminster School before moving to San Diego where he attended the University of San Diego (USD).

Hobbies and interests: Surfing, water skiing, jet skiing, sailing, football, lacrosse, ice hockey, skiing and snowboarding. Rode a bike and motorcycle.
