Known as The Father of Backswording, an ancient sport of cudgel fighting, Pete Buzzsaw Holland has been solely responsible for the reintroduction of the traditional sport of English Country Backswording across middle England in the 21st century. Pete or 'Buzz' as he is better known has run the UK's only tournament ring for ECB in the UK since he established it in 2005. A Past UK Champion himself he has coached many champion backsworders over the years. A Master at Arms in the English tradition of fighting skills, Buzz is highly respected both in the UK and around the world for his knowledge, expertise and commitment to this traditionally English sport.
