Kate McCann(IV)
Kate McCann is an English journalist and political correspondent. Based in Westminster, London she delivers expert analysis, breaking news and exclusive reports for various Sky News shows, including Breakfast with Kay Burley (2019), Sky News Today (2001) and Sophy Ridge on Sunday (2017).
Before joining Sky in 2018, she worked at The Sun newspaper as the Whitehall correspondent, and at The Daily Telegraph as senior political correspondent.
Kate was highly commended at the 2017 Press Awards for her Labour manifesto scoop, the first time a political manifesto had been leaked to a newspaper in its entirety.
She is also deputy chair of the Press Gallery, the gathering of political journalists from national and international outlets in Westminster, having previously been chair in 2018, and was only the second woman to hold the title in over 200 years.
