Shakespeare Republic

"Take Shakespeare's soliloquies and put them in a modern-day setting." The concept itself is intriguing enough, but the execution and performances are absolutely off-the-charts. As the head of the New Jersey WebFest, we were delighted to award this show with Outstanding Drama Series, as well as a Direct Selection to another prestigious web festival. It's just incredible. I can't get enough of it!

I absolutely adore this show. The work on all sides of the camera is exquisite. The bard's words are just wonderfully honored in this series.

This is Shakespeare 2.0! A web anthology dedicated to the "Bard" words and poetry. Some episodes are truly breathtaking. Casting is perfect and some acting performances are incredibly powerful.

Surprising setting for Shakespeare bits. Impressive acting. The result is beautiful and often breathtaking. Each episode is a delight.

I had the pleasure of reviewing this show and awarding it for Best Original Idea in Rio Webfest 2017 and I highly recommend it. Great cast and great technical staff. #lovethebard season two is amazing and hope to see more from it soon.
