The ghosts of the past

Watch this film in Queer Lisboa and I got carried away by it's delicate psychological portrait of a woman that has to face a violent past. It is a story told by details and small events while in the surface it is a story of a woman having to deal with the patriarchal ways of society. I enjoyed how the story lures you to think that it will be a thriller and in reality it is more of a metaphorical journey of self-awareness and connection. Mexican cinema at it's best.
