A Haunting at the Hoyt Library

I like documentaries, but honestly if you address trying to influence and be believable, you need to cut down on all the mood shiver theatrics. This would then feel like science applied for folks who want to learn and less like reality TV. I actually cut our to a Disney film to help me to stay objective. Clearly the post production had worked on the horror genre.

I agree 100% with llbarker-71233, definitely a great documentary. Yes it is a "Cliche ghost hunter stuff", but it has to be if your ghost hunting however there is lots of evidence. I Would have given it a 10/10 if they would have included the evp. They had to have obtained tons, that is probably the biggest disappointment. There are some scenes you are able to catch stuff in the background they didn't catch themselves. Totally worth watching.

This Quiet but creepy Paranormal film has everything I could want. Good acting, ghostly shots, and it's quite realistic. Though some might be wanting huge jump scares and may not appreciate the sentiment it provides. I for one loved the movie!

I couldn't let the 2 star reviewer get away with his phony review. It is obvious he never even watched it. I also do not believe it is right to review a paranormal documentary if you don't believe in spirits and you just want to make fun the those (billions of people over thousands of years) who do.

As far as paranormal docs go, this is a 8/10 and easily could have been a 10/10 if they had included the EVP evidence they had to have caught but ran out of time for. I've been a paranormal investigator for many years and as such know without a doubt that the spirit world is real. The evidence they capture is very much similar or the same as the type I and my peers have personally caught.

Would you go to a review site for an earth is round documentary and make fun of it because you were so close minded and ignorant that you believed the earth was flat? Well, that what this 2 star reviewer has done.

Anyway, it was very enjoyable and I had to say my two cents to refute that horrible review from someone who obviously didn't even watch the movie.

Bad acting, unlikeable cast, annoying 'scary' soundtrack and poor editing in an attempt to create scares / tension. Ooh things are really old they say (150 years is not that old!!), therefore blah blah blah... Yawn.
