The Wrath of Savitar

So Iris has a problem with Barry 'tainting' his proposal to her and their coming marriage because he was aware that those things might contribute to saving her life.

Somehow, that means their life together will be impure, because it will always hang over their heads that Barry wanted the best for her, and wanted to do everything possible to save her life. Did I mention this is ridiculous?

The Flash writers commit absurdity after absurdity in dealing with feelings in season 3, where grown adults prattle about relationships being ruined if immediately after the first kiss a couple isn't totally committed to absolute honesty and transparency. It's a tweens confused imagining of what mature and growing love is about.

Being a fan of both the Flash series and the flash-point paradox in the comics, I can sum this season so far as...interesting. Savitar isn't seeming nearly as scary nor as brutal as Zoom or even Thawne was, but he's still intimidating since he knows certain details about the team.

On a technical note: is this the first episode where Savitar is not completely animated? I feel like I'm watching a power rangers episode.

Good show, really hoping they execute the ending well, but the Savitar attire is really going to throw me off if the armor looks plush.

From Season 1 Episode 1 until this point (Season 3 Episode 15), this team hurts many many many many several several infinite times from keeping secrets, lies, deciding to show-off by one's self. How many time that we hear "No, I can do this (on my own without consulting someone else or without help from others)." or "I'm fine (while actually seeing things, feeling things but I decided to keep it to myself). This seems like they never learned from the past (well, even though time lines were altered, but hey they didn't lose ALL of their memories, did they?)

Aren't the writers tired of writing the same line over and over and over and over in many many episodes? I DO BELIEVE that you guys CAN develop a really good story without using the same FLAWS of the characters over and over and over.

I have not seen the rest of the episodes yet, but I'm hoping for new ideas for expanding the story, not just new villains, new worlds, or new time lines with OLD ways to create them.
