THE HOBBYIST, directed by George Vatistas and produced by DM Night Maire is a highly stylized short film that is really a fun film to watch as the audience is very quickly taken by the mysterious characters and their dubious needs. Actor Robert W. Smith as the Druggist is simply fantastic and immediately pulls viewers into the narrative. The twisted story of poison, murder and deceit is pure entertainment and really stands as a testament to director / writer George Vatistas' creative vision for the film! Definitely a MUST WATCH for all!

I saw it with the fascination of a child about a great fairy tale. In essence, it is one of that old fashion moral stories , too simple for our times but for useful, in profound sense, exactly for them.

A venerable man. A young customer. The wish of the last and the useful coffeee break for answer to his desire. But , after motivation, a simple word of shop owner changing everything, for customer and, maybe , more, for viewer.

A short film, correct , pretty admirable crafted about...responsability. About essential moral lesson . And about something , in deep sense, interesting each of us. At the end, the kick to define it a pure masterpiece.
