funny

This movie funny, the character of Hadiah, a half Jamaican girl likes oldskool ska. Eventhough it was quite lowbudget made according to this page, it had some nice musical sequences, even on a sailing navy ship on open water! We liked the funny and sometimes surreal twist and the parodical navy chats. Chloe Leenheer plays a memorable role and the soundtrack with all the ska songs on it was very well done!

It failed on the script

Watching this movie I got the impression that everybody wanted to make a good movie. The idea was a lighthearted romantic comedy with a few song and dance interjections. However, a good movie starts with a good script, and it looks to me it failed because of that. Unrealistic dialogues, implausible twists and cardboard characters made me loose all willingness to follow this story. To bad, because you can notice the effort everyone made.

I Like it, this Film it a Musical Romance. The actors was also good. I found the beginning to be funny, Chloe Leenheer is amazing in the movie but it is cringeworthy to see her romancing Valentijn Benard, I just did not see them as a couple in this movie, post interval you can barely tolerate it, there is unnecessary drama, a movie that could have easily ended in 90 minutes is dragged and dragged.
