Short Drama Done Well

Repentance is a well crafted short drama. Rather than trying to make a grand statement around the central themes, it is obvious that the filmmakers focused on getting the small things right - Repentance is short drama done well. The cinematography is notable and complements the uneasy tone of the film nicely. The acting is convincing, and one scene in particular is especially uncomfortable for the viewer, as intended.

The thematic content of Repentance is confronting, timely, and handled respectfully. The story which acts as a vessel for these themes hints at questions of morality and manages to hold your attention until the end.

I'd recommend giving this film a watch, especially as it is now available on YouTube.
