A Mediocre Movie
Kivanc Ttlitug's acting was good, but the script was really bad and mediocre. Music that starts suddenly and very cliché scenes to make drama. How do those who give this movie 10 points, I guess those who don't know what a good movie is...
very emotional and touching story of father and son
This deeply emotional film tells the story of Ali, a single father who never expected to become a parent. After a one-night encounter with a troubled woman-whom he saved from the edge of despair-Ali finds himself raising their child alone. The woman survives, but her mental trauma leaves her unable to be part of the child's life. Ali, who was raised by his own father after his mother's absence, now faces the same challenge of fatherhood, with the help of his aging but supportive father.
What makes this film truly powerful is its honest and realistic portrayal of Ali's emotional journey. He is not a heroic or idealized figure, but a regular man filled with doubts, fear, and vulnerability. He struggles deeply with the demands of parenthood, especially because his son is different-he does not speak or make eye contact. This causes Ali frustration, sadness, and guilt, as he fears he is failing his child.
The film captures the raw truth of being a parent, especially when things don't go as expected. It explores themes of generational love, acceptance, and the quiet resilience it takes to be there for someone day after day. Ali's internal conflicts-his fear of not being enough, of not knowing what to do-make him a deeply relatable character.
This is not just a story about fatherhood, but about emotional growth, healing, and the quiet strength of ordinary people. Beautifully acted and sensitively written, it leaves a lasting impact on the viewer.

A once in a generation movie. It will stay with me forever
COME ON MY SON" - Hadi be Oglum
If you are English you have heard this phrase a thousand times or more. A term of encouragement - to push forward against all the odds.
KIVANC TATLITUG'S film of the same name exemplifies this simple phrase.
Hadi be Oglum is a story about a father's battle not to give up on his autistic son Efe. Kivanc's character as Captain Ali draws you into his world where he and his father are struggling to make a living aboard their boat.
He becomes a single dad to his son (Efe) after a girl enters his life for just 1 night - A "mermaid" as he describes her to his son.
Captain Ali shows us the depths of despair and the heights of elation as he tries to guide his son - looking to connect with him on an emotional level.
Alihan Turkdemir (who plays the role of Efe) is amazing. He portrays a 7 year old autistic child who is a savant. He speaks no words on screen but his every nuance, mannerism and facial expression leaves your heart aching for him.
Kivanc Tatlitug is mesmerizing as Captain Ali. His acting ability is just incredible. He pulls you into the world of Ali and from that first moment until the end you can't take your eyes off him.
Every facial expression, every mannerism is so believable sincere and heartfelt. He deserves world wide recognition for his amazing talent.
I have now watched this movie at least a dozen times. It's a movie you can't just see once. My poor husband (with a heart made of stone- his words lol) finally caved after my pleas to watch this and even he was moved to tears and recognized and respected KIVANC TATLITUG'S unique ability as an actor.
This film will make you cry and laugh and cry and laugh over and over again, but will leave you with the realization that miracles happen when you refuse to give up.
I will do everything within my power to watch this on the big screen.
PLEASE, PLEASE BRING "COME ON MY SON" TO THE ENGLISH AUDIENCE.

Hadi Be Oglum- a must watch movie!
It was very lucky to have this movie here in the UK with english subtitles and it was even more lucky for me to have been able to watch it with a fellow dedicated Kivancster with all her busy lifestyle (the humble and warm Anna) It was a cold and freezing typical english winter day we both took a day off from work and started our Friday morning early getting ready to head to the North of London for Hadi Be Oglum, as we sat down for the movie I was a bit nervous as there was a big excitement and anticipation for the movie. The film started and Kivanc appeared on the big screen(looking tanned and most handsome he's ever been!) with a hint of comedy we all laughed.Kivanc has such a good facial expressions for acting whether it is comedy or emotional scenes, with Kivanc i laugh or cry just before he even says a word by looking at his facial expressions. This particular movie tells a story of a father's (Ali) struggle towards his son (Efe) who has a special need.Ali is a hard working man in Kas together with his father they strive for every day life at the same time they try hard to give Efe a better life.Ali's greatest ambition in life is to get a loving reaction from Efe as Efe is unable to speak or show any sort of emotions due to his condition. All Ali wanted from life and Efe was one loving look or a single word of love from his son nothing else! the movie carries on with this plot and Ali's struggle to achieve it, there comes a very interesting and exciting life path for Efe but little that they knew they will also tread in uncharted waters... Kivanc played the role of Ali very well i believed in every story he told me i believed in each of his emotions, cries and struggles in his life.As a renowned actor Kivanc can carry heavy emotions easily and naturally that is exactly what happened in this movie the best story was told in a very natural and straight forward way, in his acting ability Kivanc is very captivating that the audience has no chance not to be able to engage in with his character (this is a fact that i know from watching him in his tv roles) the two hours that we sat felt almost like seconds i remember asking Anna if we for sure have been in the cinema for two hours that is Kivanc!! as the story line goes on the movie highlights issues related with autism and societies awareness and acceptance of differences and one's struggle in life which is highly portrayed by Kivanc as Ali.Kivanc always gives all he has and puts his heart into what he does hence a remarkable and outstanding result. The young boy's (Alihan) talent is incredible in the movie, how a young boy like him can carry such emotions and how he completely understands the importance of the story and his character is beyond words.Busra Develi's (Efe's mother)scene is short yet sweet and memorable. There is beautiful music throught the movie in combination with breathtaking scenery for a moment i thought i was in Kas.Over all i had a very enjoyable and unforgettable day and one of my highlights of 2018 so far.I recommend this movie to everyone out there who belives in love, hope acceptance and perseverance in life...
A different Kivanc Tatlitug
Like all of his work, Kivanc Tatlitug threw himself totally into the role of Ali (the father). He interacts with Efe (the child) in the most positive, sensitive and believable way. You lose your heart at his efforts to have his autistic son recognize him. This is not a fairy tale, nor a hero conquering the world scenario. It is a small slice of life, beautifully portraying a father's love for a special child who is non-verbal, but not unaware. Kivanc Tatlitug's scenes with Efe will tear your heart apart with sorrow and will ultimately make it leap with joy. A sensitive portrayal by all the actors, but once again, in a completely new and different character interpretation, Kivanc Tatlitug shows his extraordinary talent.
