Agreeable and charming comedy, but very mediocre, with a great main and support cast with plenty of familiar faces Quintin (José Luis Ozores) is a gas station worker who has to take care of a funeral business for his future father-in-law (Valeriano Andrés) , the father of his girlfriend Paloma (Tere del Rio). When the first client appears, Quintin will require the help of his veterinarian friend Justo (Antonio Ozores). The latter, reluctant at first, ends up agreeing because the deceased is the wealthy uncle of Begoña (Elisa Montes), a woman he is in love with. The old Don Senén (Félix Fernández) has squandered in sprees the inheritance of his niece Begoña rather than manage it. There is still a million pesetas, which will only be delivered after the death of Don Senén. To get it, the old man, in complicity with Begoña and two other nephews (Ramón: Fernando Rey and Marcos: Fernando Delgado) will fake his death. But Ramón and Marcos really planned to poison their uncle putting cyanide in his milk to keep them with money .
