Rendezvous

I want to register a more positive reflection of this movie. I thought the plot was well developed with a good flow. The obvious low budget yielded a restrictive set and a "grainy" look but the lead actors maintained your attention. Wendy is gorgeous with sex appeal that mesmerized me and Gary too. Their love scenes were a high point and convincingly orchestrated (no bad acting there). In fact, if you can watch their kissing scenes and feel nothing...you're dead or gay. The supporting cast was far more erratic in their abilities but credible as a whole. The ultimate union of the lead characters was well organized and plausibly presented in climax. Enjoyable and engrossing movie.

It's a bad movie, but you'll get a chance to see Gary Dordan without a shirt. The thing that had us rolling on the floor was the fact that the production clearly only had permission to use one hallway in whatever building this was in, so they had the characters running up and down it 30 different ways trying to make it look like they're actually going somewhere.

The plot is ok - the usual stealing from drugloads plot and trying to get away but, the good guys, the bad guys etc. are all pretty pathetic actors. People reacting in unrealistic ways to the mob-cops taking over their apt. building. It's unrealistic but their are some good-looking actors if you like eye candy.

This movie had the same plot as many other movies of the same genre. The acting could have been better, I agree with yvonatron from Seattle. But it had me glued to the television. When I first saw it, it was done in parts so I had to tune in to see what would happen. The bad guys, typical, good looking, villainous. The bad girl, I liked her but she was just too...she tried to be too much of a bad girl. That got me a little annoyed. Yvonatron, even though the acting wasn't so hot, it still had me interested. Overall, 6.5/10 (Could have been better)
