    Great Movie!

As I am always looking for something new and unique, I watched this film online. I thought that it would be just another "B" rate movie but I was amazed at the acting by the two main characters. All of the actors in this film were very capable and well directed. The plot was wonderful and unique as well with an excellent moral to the story.

This movie is definitely not for someone looking for a sex romp, "Dumb and Dumber" or blood and guts. This is a wonderfully poignant film showing some grim realities of life coupled with the kindness of the human heart and just enough frivolity to keep it interesting.

I would prefer this movie to many "A" rate movies I have seen even a great number with high box office earnings.

    I highly recommend this movie.

    Pass the TP!!

As I said before, Poops, there it is! This movie was pure poop. Poop from the start right down to the last poopin' minute. Ewww. Where's the T.P.? Totally awful acting, directing, writing. Oh, but wait. There's more!!! Did I mention it was awful? Anyway, run right out to your local Iggle, talk to Billy and watch it for yourself. Better rent the Bosley Institute Hair Replacement video as well so you can compare the brilliance. In a word, Ew.

IF YOU SEE ONE MOVIE EVER, LET IT BE "THE PRODIGY"!!!!!!!!!!

2 WORDS: Academy Award. Nuff said. This film had everything in it. Comedy to make me laugh, Drama to make me cry and one of the greatest dance scenes to rival Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo. The acting was tip top of any independant film. Jeremy Earl was in top form long since seen since his stint on the Joan Cusack Show. His lines were executed with dynamite precision and snappy wit last seen in a very young Jimmy Walker. I thought I saw the next emergance of a young Denzel Washington when the line "My bus!! It's.... Gone" That was the true turning point of the movie. My Grandmother loved it sooo much that i bought her the DVD and recommended it to her friends. It will bring tears to your eyes and warmth to your heart as you see the white Tony Donato and African American Nathan Davis bond. Through thick( being held up at knife point) and thin( Nathan giving Tony tips on women) the new dynamic duo has arrived and are out to conquer Hollywood.

    Its not bad just OK

I went to school with Jeremy Earl, that is how I heard of this movie, I don't really know if it was in the theater's at all. I don't recall the name. I have seen it, it is like one of those after school specials. The acting is OK, not great. The plot was kind of weak and the lines were pretty corny. So the only comment I can give this movie is "Eh" I borrowed the movie from Jeremy, if I was in a movie rental place, this is one that I would walk past and after watching it I wouldn't recommend it to anyone past middle school age. I've also noticed that many times when urban kids are portrayed, the slang is overused or just outdated. Many times I think thats what makes their characters unbelievable.

This was a decent little flick...

I rented this movie the other night from blockbuster, thinking that it was going to be another really bad T & A flick or something like it because The Prodigy wasn't rated and it didn't have any name actors in it. Turns out it wasn't a bad movie. It wasn't the best movie either. At times, the story line was a little weak, but it picked up and there weren't any major holes. The acting was alright, although the dialog definitely needed some help. The little kid was pretty good, funny at times, and his "white" older brother figure, played by Robert Foreman, did a good job of playing the off beat "insensitive- turned-caring" frat boy. Overall, I was surprised to see something a little different than the standard college romp like American Pie, which I'm sick of at this point.
