Before he automatically was given industry awards for everything down to blowing his nose, and his films became increasingly pretentious and ponderous, Brad Armstrong made this fine little Wicked Pictures release that uses the time-honored porn convention of a Group Therapy session, akin to an AA meeting.

That structure is perfect for Adult CInema, in that it generates instant dramatics between the disparate group members, and provides a natural spine for the individual sex vignettes to hang on.

Herschel Savage runs the session, and the wonderful Inari Vachs is the first time attendee, relating her story of becoming a nympho due to her rich husband with a heart condition unable to satisfy her needs. She delivers her specialty of anal sex in the opening segment, paired with attractive swingers Kristal Summers and Nick Manning in a torrid threesome.

Next up to spill one's guts is Sydnee Steele, who confesses an addiction to musicians, with her flashback depicting a gang-bang with three rockers: Cheyne Collins, Mark Davis and Jason McCain.

Troublemaker at the session is Devinn Lane, Wicked contract girl who gets star billing, although Vachs has the real lead role. She's a butch lesbian who gives all the other confessors a hard time, and her story concerns her preying on married women, having lesbian affairs, with the flashback showing her having sex with exotic Nikita Denise on a stairway and in a bubble bath. Denise, unfortunately not given any dialog to take advantage of her uniquely sexy accent, delivers anal sex via dildo.

Bridgette Kerkove is also an alcoholic (attending AA) as well as sex addict, and her tale of woe involves picking up barfly Lee Stone and servicing his big dick, also occasioning anal sex content.

Savage was in the same boat as his attendees two years ago and relates how he cheated on his wife, with a fetish scene involving prostitute Tina Cherie.

Joel Lawrence, chief verbal antagonist for Devinn, turns out to dig sex in public, and his flashback depicts outdoor sex on a rooftop with top fetish model Amber Michaels.

Finale concerns Eric Price, whose fetish is perfume, and he imagines having sex with Inari Vachs, an ambiguous fantasy scene that leaves the viewer pondering whether they knew each other or if this is a portent of things to come. Brad himself is cast as a member of the group who hits on Sydnee during a break and gets a quick blow job in the bathroom.

No deep meanings or big-budget showing off, just a solid demonstration of Armstrong's filmmaking skill when he isn't swinging for the fences.
