Knock Knock, I'm Looking to Marry

Being a low-budget movie with debutant actors, the strength of this movie lies in its entertaining realism. I was very surprised to find everyone conversing in English. It seems like certain cities in India are westernizing very quickly. It was funny to see the main characters suffer through the matrimonial process and all the very different people they end up meeting. Although the actress's parents are opposed to her getting a love marriage, the movie looks at this angle very realistically. It's not like in other Bollywood movies where the parents hire gundas or other nonsense violence occurs between the two families. The ending is also very realistic. This a good flick.

Well, this movie is right up there in the list of the worst movies I have ever watched. And I am sure it will win hands down.

Believe me, you will regret watching this movie. The plot is predictable, the cast is inexperienced and the movie is certainly not worth the effort. The acting is worse than what you would find in a school-play. The storyline is quite interesting and the movie does succeed in bringing about far and few light moments. A lot needs to be done with the acting. The only thing that was commendable was the honest effort that the two lead actors had put in, otherwise the movie was just not worth it.

This movie really relates to the modern day reality in India about marriages.I believe more and more such movies should be made keeping the vast population of software engineers in mind,whose number just grows by the day. Though the acting was a bit of a downer,it really depicted the truth today.And the most beautiful part is the couple of good English songs that they have put in this movie,which really makes the experience enjoyable. Another thing i liked about this movie is being mostly set in Bangalore,which really shows that the director targets the IT guys and their life directly. Another thing is the availability of this movie.It can rarely be found on DVD shelves.

I wonder where can i find the soundtrack of this one. A real entertainer for the young masses.

Expected a lot from this movie but when I saw it I was truly disappointed. The lead roles deliver a very horrible acting performance. The direction is okay. The film has exceptionally poor sound dubbing. The female lead has a sombre face through out the movie which really gets on one's nerves!

The plot is okay but the pace is too slow and the movie becomes unbearable at times. Surprisingly the film did well in some centres. Probably coz of the subject of arranged and love marriage... This film hardly deals with the complications of this issue. Avoid.
