Will be understood by educated Americans

A special two-part offering made in France and telling a story of sentiment that is quite Gallic in complexion; but that will be understood by educated Americans and thoroughly enjoyed. We remember a one-reel picture, also made in France, that developed the same situation in much the same way, yet we were entertained by it the second time. It is a well acted picture and full of humorous character touches that brought out a good deal of laughter. The photography is clear and artistic. - The Moving Picture World, June 7, 1913
