Kill to Act

I like the idea and realization plan :) Crew is perfect. Slavar is very creative as always. Pleasure to work with such staff.I like Slava's attitude to actors performance.He always teaches us, showing appropriate movements and intonation for the moment. But it does not feel like -"You are doing everything wrong. You must do this way". It is more like discussion how to improve this particular scene. He pays much more attention to intonation and movements, then to words in text. If you live the role - you move accordingly and words are coming naturally with a right intonation, no matter if it corresponds with original text or not.. Awesome experience

Well, nice try to tell the story about abandoned actor and his efforts to survive in this tough world. By the way, those guys are not actors, so we have a half doc half feature piece, saying, that "Life is hard, Eugene" (The crossroad") They play as well as they could, but the final shot made the case. )) "I'm busy a bit" said the lead role man, dropping feet of the corps. Laugh me to tears. Mark it 9, Dude!

What a performance! I never knew that all those guys and girls are not pro actors, but! The sentence "Irma, we have just one day left" - is the best part of this shorty, that trying to show us how difficult and unsafe all those auditions could be. I think authors are aware of that and the humor of the scene is that you have to kill, if yo want the piece... Basic line for all young actors is written. YOU WANNA BE A STAR? KILL ))

That was the real challenge to make #KillTheAct that way we produce it. We invited actors, who has not so much experience in motion picture process. For 3 of them that was the real debut in motion picture business. Director has to play tv director, and it add difficulties from one hand, but from another it gave "the real audition degree" for Anatoli Petchenko, who played the lead role in Kill The Act. As I can say the result doubled my expectations. Everyone did a great job no matter of what conditions were.
