Simple Story. The performances are engaging the whole time

I so appreciate films that invite me to think about and discover the story rather than broadcast it, and this film offers that pleasure with intelligent writing and superb acting. Ellie Araiza captivated me from moment one with her rich inner life and subtle performance, as did the entire ensemble. I felt the characters' tension throughout without being able to predict the dramatic events that would transpire. The period was captured authentically with top-notch cinematography and rich production design.

What a beautifully shot short film. I really enjoyed every second of this very unique Western. A well-written script with unexpected turns. Wonderful performances by the writers who are also the lead actresses. Jul Kohler plays once again a strong female character with great emotional depth.

This film is not only pleasant to watch visually, with great cinematography throughout, it is also well written and the acting is superb. The production value is phenomenal, especially for an independent film. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I highly recommend it!

It's hard to believe this was done by a small group of people. It's visually impressive and well-shot. For a Western, or maybe even in general, the story is unlike anything I've encountered before. Refreshing to get an original, well-written short!
