Nica Noelle is sadly fast fading from the Adult Cinema scene, as all four of the successful labels she launched, Sweet Sinner, Sweetheart Video, Transsensual and Icon Male, have had the director's chair handed off to others. This fairly recent Gay Porn feature for Icon Male bears her credits, but is a far cry from her glory days.
The four vignettes are typical Oiler fare: a rubdown followed by fellatio and anal-sex, like clockwork. Shot on the cheap, one crummy set, located in a bedroom rather than an appropriate massage salon, is reused for different characters, destroying any credibility whatsoever. The dialog set-ups are minimal and acting wooden, with several of the performers merely chosen according to cock size (big) rather than thespian abilities.
I miss the inspiration and flair for dramatics within a realistic framework that made Nica such a breakthrough filmmaker a decade ago - little inkling of those talents are evident here.
