A powerful meaningful movie that I enjoyed very much.

It touched on past trauma affecting Eva's everyday life, a refugee child that moved to USA is still affected by memories of her past.

Somany movies have been done like this but i liked the twist of the new American dream, it was something unique and different.

Great actors, great wardrobe and well identified skill sets

Shout to Nessma for her great acting skills!! It shows the sacrifices parents make for their children's safety by putting their needs above their own.

This is such a great movie. The plot and the suspense were great. I definitely recommend it to anybody who loves a good story and great acting. Such a timely movie for the world that we're living in right now. I really hope there is a part two to this film so we can see what happens with the main character and the family of the soldier. I would watch this movie time and time again. I'm looking forward to it going on DVD so I can add it to my collection of my favorite movies. If you're looking for a heart warming movie that reflects so many current lives I definitely recommend this film. If I could give it 100 stars I would.

The Refugee is a tremendous movie. It has such great themes of family, hope, and healing. It serves as a reminder of how our individual lives can intersect in ways that change another person's life forever.

It also tells a story of how tremendous pain can be transformed to help others. I highly recommend this movie.

It also gives a glimpse into the struggles many military persons and their families experience along with the struggles that immigrants face.

I applaud the actors and the writers. They were superb. I encourage you to take the time to watch this movie. You certainly won't regret it.

I watched this incredible film at the Orlando Urban Film Festival. I was blown away. What an incredible production. Acting, directing and the quality is to be commended. I found myself looking for more projects done by Mr. Johnny Greenlaw. In my opinion this filmmaker is a triple threat Writer/Producer/Director. I will be keeping my eye out for this talented filmmaker. For those that read this review, you won't be disappointed for taking a few minutes out of your day to view this heart filled film. Mr. Greenlaw I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Keep up the good work and I can't wait to see your next production.
