Always great to see an indie filmmaker make their first film but unfortunately this was not a strong start. This film lacked in many ways especially the storytelling. Actors were a combo of good, bad and unratable. I found myself bored watching this and the black and white photography didn't add anything. The Reason to shoot B&W is to give the film another layer. This was trying to be noir, but it didn't work. All the elements of filmmaking were still in the beginner's alley, music, framing, cinematography, directing, etc. Overall, its hard making a film and even though this was FREE on TUBI, I wouldn't pay to watch this. There is nothing that evokes emotions or strikes you with interest or captivates or intrigues etc. Film-makers need to remember to PULL you in, draw you in and make you want to keep watching. Great work making a film - it isn't easy. Keep on pushing.
