Imperative

I attended the Premier, not knowing what to expect but i throughly enjoyed the film, knowing it was produced on a zero budget shocked me, my favourite parts was where the head smashed in with a hammer, it wasnt real ok. The ending was a brilliant twist as well, but three main aspects which jumped out, the Director is a mordern day Hitchcock, same style with a twist. The baddy, played his roll well as in real life most murders try to justify their actions & latch on to someone, this time it was Keith Mason, playing a troubled washed up Detective. As a Priest ive encounteted many situations, for me Keith Mason played his roll brilliantly, a young Roger Moore. The Future is bright for all these actors & it was a pleasure to meet them all personally.

Keith Mason is clearly a natural, a very gifted actor. He plays the intense and believable detective in this raw and emotion driven film. His commitment to the role gives the film momentum. His powerful on screen presence and range of emotions gives the film depth. Keith is supported by an excellent and believable starring cast including James Merrill, Jamie Coulter and Jenna Brough.

The director is a remarkably gifted young talent Thierry Chavrimootoo. His cinematography not only captures the tension of emotions but ranges through to the artistic observation of quiet and silence. I was left thinking of the similarities of this young man with Hitchcock. He has the surprise of graphic violence with the subtlety of quietly creative cinematography. An interesting and rare combination.

The film reaches a tension riddled climax but where will it end? The follow up must be coming at some point soon? I look forward to more from this remarkably dynamic and creative team.

My wife and I attended the premiere. What an event! We absolutely loved the movie and can't wait to see the next one!

DCI Jack Sullivan was amazing and the serial killer played an excellent part.

Excellent film. Full of grit & suspense. Keith Mason was amazing in the film & did the lead character justice. He carried the film very well. I'm looking forward to seeing the next in the saga of DCI Jack Sullivan.

The writing was brilliant & very well directed by Thierry Chavrimootoo. Super talented for a young up & coming director.

The chemistry between director & lead actor was magic!

Such an impressive movie, dark and gripping. The directors storytelling and cinematography was incredible, and his building of intensity was moving and at times delightfully jarring. The soundtrack was wisely chosen for the mood and theme of the narrative, at times pulling at your feelings toward the characters and the image of the dark city in which a vigilante was prowling.

Keith Mason's performance was fresh and new and brought this story alive with his emotional and raw performance. I believe he has a bright future in the movie world and I look forward to watching him grow. His timing and delivery was measured and appropriate for his character's haunting backstory. If you're a fan of Luther and Guy Ritchie you will love this!
