I am sorta lost for words. I don't think I've ever given a 2 rating. Maybe for a movie that was in terrible taste.
This movie is just frighteningly bad. How on earth did they get the funds to shoot this. Must have been a completely oblivious Angel funder.
The directing and acting are childish and at such an amateurish level I suspect most of us could do a better job.
How they forced the production value into this film I will never understand. The cinematography and music is occasionally decent with pretty scenery, but except for the opening scene of the city, still nothing we haven't seen done much better. And really, the scenery did most of the work.
So beyond that one aspect which gains two stars, the rest is unbelievably bad.
Acting: terrible Directing: terrible.
Circumstance: ridiculous (specifically the psychiatrist scene and the robbery scene) Historical exposition: contrived and exploitive/manipulative (and even failed at trying to do that)
Really did feel like people were reading their lines from a teleprompter for the first time.
I really tried to not sound too pretentious writing this. Sorry if I chose words that sounded as such. But I was really stretching trying to find the words to explain how bad this movie was. It's a b-movie not worth watching. It has no redeeming qualities or cultish fun. I don't think I've ever given such a scathing review where I couldn't find some redeeming qualities to a film.
If I was to recommend watching this, it would only be so you could discover something so bad as to be completely mind boggling and uniquely bazaar that it could ever be released.

Seeing the poster, I have to admit .. I probably would not have been able to resist watching this. On the other hand, maybe it was better I just randomly picked this out of "what to watch next" streaming service I was on. The expectations the poster is setting ... well let's just say the movie itself will not reach (no pun intended).
Actually the movie does begin with a quite seductive main character. But the movie is not about steamy dreams/fantasies - neither yours nor hers. It is a mechanism - a distraction! A force shield if that comparison works even better for you.
So being spoiled and not sure what to do with herself (or the body god has given her), she also is being taken from this world ... well still on planet Earth, but quite a remote location, where she isn't even able to reach any of her friends. It is never clear if they are actual friends or just random people on social media she has gotten to know.
I guess you could read a few things into the movie. You could make up stuff that the makers intended or maybe they are your own version of whatever is transpiring. Anyway, this is a quest for self discovery ... accidental, by chance and a bit forced (parents pressuring her to take a trip with them) ... and finally also a bit of nudity. But again, if that is the main reason you are watching it (and you'd be excused considering that poster), you'd be quite dissapointed.

Sometimes a film is so boring that you question what's the value of your time. I can see the audience intended for the film it but it still fails it's own audience. Nothing but a variant of the same love story we've been accustomed to.
Actors did a subpar job, felt like they were casted either through nepotism or based on looks alone and the worst part about it is that the actors constantly looked like they forgot their lines. The main character is really pretty but she acts like a 14yr old who was casted through a high school popularity poll. The rest of the cast doesn't help either, as they walk into sets; read their lines and then get off camera to never exist ever again. Dialogue scenes do nothing but show you how emotionless the actors are.
It's amazing how not active the plot is. Perhaps the writer didn't get enough time to flesh out the script/plot, because this feels like every other half-baked romance movie. Character interactions are constant expositions which keep droning on and on.
Overall, this is the type of movie you'd wanna play to do something else. Requires no attention at all, so you can play it when you trying to get to second base with a partner as background noise and once you're done, you'd give it one glance and know exactly what has happened.

(2022) When The Mist Clears
ROMANTIC DRAMA
The main theme of this movie is something you can watch from the Hallmark channel except with a couple of nude scenes. Produced, written and directed by Cengiz Dervis, it has Isabella (Gena Miller) already complaining and grumbling about her stay while at an isolated Italian countryside villa or manor. And it's not for laying/ loafing around the pool or to be the only person swimming in it, but because she could not have receive any Iphone service/ reception, and could not contact any of her old friends or... so called boyfriend, whoever that might be. The reason why Isabella is forced to go and then stay there is because that is where her new stepmother happens to live at where her widowed dad lives with. And during her stay she meets an American guy who maintains the property, his name is Matt (Christian Howard)
One of the major problems I had is that despite the Italian countryside, I have not heard a single Italian language spoken throughout- that the characters who are, some I suspect, obviously are Italian are just characters struggling to speak English, including the ones attempting to rob them- it at times sounds phony. The other issue I have is, and it's like, if Isabelle is having problems contacting her former love interest back home and so forth, the obvious thing for that to happen is for her bf or her friends back home to come and visit her. And yet, the movie kind of refuses to acknowledge some even exist, as shown during the scene when she was dancing with other people, viewers are not shown her contacting them at all. If there is any reason to watch this, it is to see actress Gena Miller flaunt around in a bikini when you can get that and more from seeing her online.

This is the worst movie I have ever seen. While the setting is gorgeous and appears to be financed by the Italian tourism industry, this film is god awful. The dialogue is atrocious, the plot is stupid. They made good use of a drone. That's about the only positive thing I can say about this steaming pile. This was obviously made by people who think that all you have to do to make a good film is to put beautiful people in a beautiful setting and you have a good film. There is a reason the director's name is not known. Hopefully, he went into hiding. I would best describe this as a film that the Hallmark Channel would make if they wanted to branch out into extremely soft core porn.
