Darkest Hour Annihilation

I, myself am a thrill-buff & a movie-buff and this movie was perfect. There were many ( OH!) moments and as the story line progressed, we understand why Tracy (lead character) is in the predicament she's in.

I often imagined what life would be like if I were in her shoes. If I were in those times... and if those times were nigh, am I truly prepared, mentally, spiritually, physically?

This movie definitely makes you question things & as the good book says, ask and you shall receive I hope people gain understanding & hope by watching this movie. In addition, I hope they obtain wisdom to lead them through life.

The rating of this movie does not reflect how bad it actually is. This is a very low budget movie with the expected extremely poor acting. The plot is a weird mess of religious moralizing messaging. The post apocalyptic good versus evil theme is poorly rendered. The premise is ridiculous and the actors have nothing to work with.

The real mystery is how such an amateur, crappy movie, obtained a rating of anything above 3. This is a mystery. I'm guessing friends and family must have contributed to that.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this. You'll have gained 2 hours back in your life.

If you have two hours to waste, take a nap instead.

I watched this movie with my entire family, elders and children. The kids had many questions which started deep discussions important to our family & faith. Would definitely recommend ! Where can I watch the sequel ? 👀

My younger cousins also asked if there would be a part two... I feel like the character has more to tell.

All in all, very good production. I also heard that the movie was filmed during the peak of covid! While other productions weee shutting down, they kept filming to get the message of God to the people who needed it most.

I would love to see what this production can do with all the resources & no limitations imposed by COVID or any other stipulation.

Off to great start with our annual family movie binge!

This film is not scary, although thrilling! I love good cinematography & the storyline touched on personal topics that can be difficult to talk about. If you're movie watcher who likes a bit of a brain teaser, you'll enjoy this movie as well!

My friend is a foster mother & the identity confusion kids face is matter that can't be overlooked.

Not to give too much of the story line away but, I appreciate the teaching of love & being called to parent, no matter the demographic, race, etc. Of the child. Parenting is truly a calling!

The movie touches on waaaaay more than this lol But good flick.

This is an excellent end times movie but the theology is questionable. It depicts a pre-tribulation rapture in which faithful Christians disappear from the earth and then the great tribulation, which Evangelicals believe in, occurs. The movie is primarily about a woman who was a Christian but who forsook her faith prior to the rapture and so was left behind. It depicts her struggle to survive during the tribulation. The theology is questionable because of the pre-tribulation rapture theology in it.

Other than that, it is a great movie. It is extremely creepy at times and shows Christians being martyred although not in an extremely graphic manner. There is a minimum of blood of and gore in the movie but still, I would not recommend that you let you g children watch this. It has a very scary plot and is quite similar to a horror movie.
