WUSSTEST DU SCHON:
- WissenswertesBrad Pitt did 95% of his own stunts in this film according to stunt coordinator Greg Rementer. With the main exceptions being hard falls and the running scenes. He also wanted his character to grow an increasing number of bruises, cuts, and more culminating in at least three golf ball-sized lumps, but they talked him out of it.
- PatzerThe Yakuza are routinely depicted as being armed with, and using, guns. In reality, the Yakuza, and other Japanese criminals, almost never use guns (Japan averages fewer than ten gun homicides nationwide in most years). The incredibly strict gun laws in Japan mean that it's just not worth it for even professional criminals like the Yakuza to use firearms. Even possessing an illegal gun, without a link to any other crime, can lead to a hefty prison sentence.
However, it's been stated that "Japanese criminals, almost never use guns", which means that it does sometimes happen. The film depicts a time when it happens.
- Crazy CreditsSPOILER: There is a scene in the closing credits: Lemon survives his fall into the lake, and it is revealed that he hijacked and drove the truck that ran over Prince.

Not sure what movie people watched... its a action comedy, they aren't known to be life-altering. By comparison to others in the genre however this is one of the good ones. Great comedic timing, nicely choreographed fight scenes and camera work. A lot of reviews mention a Ritchie likeness, to me it seems like a mix of Ritchie and Tarantino (Kill Bill).
People balk to quickly about storylines, pacing, acting, sound, etc... because they are writing reviews right? That's what they are supposed to do... but like probably a lot of them, I'm not in the business, I'm a movie watcher so I review based on what I know. Was I entertained? Yes, I was.
