Christmas Flame

This film was simar to my assignments for school: I start to work on them and the beginning is so perfect, but then I don't feel like working on it and suddenly I have only one day to finish the whole essay. It is true for this film as well. The ending was a little bit disappointing.

Apart from this, I enjoyed the movie, it s great for a cozy Advent night, good for families as well. It was funny, but the end was rough-and-ready. They could have bring out more of it for sure. :) But I'll give it a 8/10 because it concerned important topics, such as anxiety and fear. Also, Hungarian culture is shown in the film.

But dude, you created less than 200 million HUF on a 900 million budget. In USD with hugh generosity.2.5 million budget produced half a million income, what's 20% of the cost.

How do you still have a job? Why isn't the whole hungarian movie industry a big scandal already, when this is the "normal" behaviour there?

Enjoyable family movie, we really love this movie, we just rewatch over and over again with my little ones. You know sometimes people just need some easy movie to distract from the everyday circle. Romance, firefighters, Christmas theme, all we need is this movie, and of course Budapest is beautiful especially in winter time. Thank you for this movie. Merry Christmas!

I usually enjoy romcoms but this just didn't do it for me. Something about that film just felt a little bit off. The storyline itself is not inherently bad, it's just quite bloated. It felt a bit like several stories going on at once without a real connection between them. Because of that, the watch wasn't nearly as enjoyable as it could have been.

I am generally ok with romcoms at the right time and place. This film was on local TV in Hungary so I sat down with family and watched it. Wish I hadn't.

The script is just plain boredom. Lines thrown in at random, no real storyline or characters. Really? This is what comes out of a 900M HUF budget? I have seen some shambolic acts in my life, but this is one of the top ten.

With my friends we used to make sport of watching IMDB's bottom 100 films. We came across some really bad, that deservedly belonged to the worst 100, but definitely watched one or two that can easily be replaced with a film like this. This film is definitely not in the region of 6.x points. More like between 2-3.
