best start to a series but fading fast
One in and it was amazing just so much to take in and so touching, Suzy who is a good actress just doesnt get series that are any good at least not to my liking but this is a must watch.
Park Hye-ryun is the writer of this series and look at her history she has not produced a solid series yet so my hopes are fleeing.
after 10 episodes they have done a good job keeping it interesting but then it just stops.
Episodes 11-14 been doing a lot of skipping just isn't anything left at this point you know who gets the prize so kind of a waste of time now.
Korean writers are good for 8 -10 hours and that's about it.
not the ending i wanted
First review in my life and i never expect the ending
So this my first review in my life just now i finished this drama the concept was very impressive. But actually that was really hurt me so much about his first love seriously.
Its feel like sad ending for me because that man was did everything and in the last he get return only thank you sorry . He always was there in childhood he was there and in STARTUP he was there always support to that girl no one was believed but he always gives his best efforts unfortunately he didn't express his feelings but i don't think that girl didn't understand. I know it's drama only but seriously it's become personally hurt .
So about all stroy i just say it's sad ending
I am sorry but i really hurt so much .

I don't ever post reviews, but I had to
I don't usually post reviews on series, but I felt an obligation after finishing Start-Up. First, I think it was a very well-written script well character development, relatable, encouraging, music was significant, and the actors were amazing. I am not an expert in art and theater, so I can only speak for what it made me feel. I highly recommend watching it; it starts a bit slow as they need to set the proper foundation for developing the story. It has a highly positive message of perseverance and working hard toward your goals. I think it also opens the door to show how much of support system people with a dream need, and it allows us to see what's possible with the right desire and dream. I know it is not a real-life story, but I want to believe that things like this could happen. Thanks to the cast for the fantastic journey.
I look forward to season two... All the best!
Strong from start to finish - modern and uplifitng
From the strong start to the complete satisfying ending this is a fun and inspiring show. A clever combination of the ups and downs of start up business with romance and nice characters. Each of their learning experiences feels like a valuable lesson to the viewer. The love triangle isn't overdone and both are nice guys but it's clear who is the one. The first episode is one of the more involving and touching openings in K drama with an emotionally gripping back story. Shout out to Kim Joo Hun as Seo Dal Mi's father and Nam Da Reum as younger Han Ji Pyeong and grandma Kim Hae Sook who any K drama fan will know. A real 2020s heroine, Suzy Bae as Seo Dal Mi looks pretty here and intelligent. She doesn't overact. Nam Joo Hyuk as Nam Do San is right for the role tall enough to be a love interest but slightly dorky as the nerdy character should be. Kim Seon Ho has a breakout role here as an investor who is blunt but right. The sets are colorful and modern and the business ideas are made to feel interesting and relevant. Although it does show 2 men rescuing/protecting a woman it feels more of an equal contribution than in past K dramas. Amusing romance between CLOY actor Yoo Soo Bin and Stephanie Lee. Funny use of big hands.
A great Start Up
The first two episodes were very promising. The cinematography were very outstanding as well. What I love about this drama are the cast. I think Bae Suzy and Nam Joohyuk will be able to portray their characters well so I anticipate on that a lot. The OSTs in drama are superb, been playing Red Vevets "Future" non stop. I can't wait for the upcoming episodes.
