Exiled: The Chosen Ones

A very intriguing/engaging storyline. I didn't want the film to end. The fight scenes between sunny pang and nick khan were mind blowing. A huge well done to everyone involved in this film.

Firstly, Im not a fan of martial arts films and even less , horror, but this film intrigued me. I had heard of some of the cast before.. Sunny Pang, James Bryhan and wanted to see what all the fuss was about.

I sat there with my husband ,gripping his arm ,waiting for the horror to start and by the end of the film, i was perched on my chair screaming and throwing myself into it.

I can say, Exiled has converted the unconvertable. This movie has all the elements of a great cast and story.

I'm looking forward to what happens next.

If The Running Man was a dystopian spectacle wrapped in neon and satire, this film strips it down to its raw, terrifying core. There's the same idea of being hunted, the same societal voyeurism-but here, the fear is real, the violence is brutal, and the performances are uncomfortably grounded.

James Bryhan, known for his chilling turn in Dig me no grave , delivers a performance that's quietly nightmarish. He brings a cold, cerebral energy to his role, evoking dread without theatrics. There's something almost spectral about him-like he's always watching, always one step ahead. He doesn't just play a threat-he becomes the embodiment of fear. It's the kind of performance that leaves a mark on the viewer long after the scene ends.

Sunny Pang, who brought intense physicality and stoic menace to Havoc, is just as magnetic here. He doesn't say much-but he doesn't have to. His screen presence commands attention. There's power in his stillness, precision in his movements, and danger in every glance. He plays a character who is calm until he explodes-and when he does, it's swift and devastating. Pang gives violence a voice without ever raising his own.

Nick Khan rounds out the cast with raw, visceral power. His fighting style is gritty and grounded, more survivalist than cinematic, and that's what makes it so effective. There's no flash-just force, control, and impact. You feel every punch, every fall, every desperate move. He's the physical heart of the film, channeling the spirit of a man with nothing to lose.

This film may echo the The Running Man in concept, but it surpasses it in tone. It trades showmanship for suspense, spectacle for atmosphere, and delivers something far more disturbing and immersive.

If you're a fan of martial arts films from the 80's and 90's, then this beast is for you.

Starring Sunny Pang, this film has all the right moves.

Fight scenes are brilliant and it's good to see so many varied and differing styles used.

Plenty of gory death scenes and imaginative characters make this film a worthy watch.

I enjoyed some of the characters. Igor was a one man killing machine and I sat on the edge of my seat when he appeared, just to see how he would dispatch his next victim and believe me, there were so many ways!

Kato Plasma was pure hardcore . A man who liked and enjoyed his evil, twisted , monstrous ways and I loved him! One guy you wouldn't want to meet down a dark alleyway, or any alleyway for that matter.

Reminded me somewhat of Arnie's The running man but with more blood and guts and a few more dysfunctional players.

A gameshow with a difference.

Players have to kill one another to get there freedom, but theres one thing standing in their way.

A great film and worth a watch if you just want to sit back and lose your mind watching a ton of blood and guts.

I liked it and routed for a couple of the players.

And when you see them, you'll know whom I am talking about.

Actingwise, there was one scene in it involving a grenade that I thought didn't need to be there. The two actors need to go back to drama school. Everyone else held up and were convincing which is why I can forgive those 2 minutes of the grenade guy.

The fight scenes between Sunny Pang and Nick Khan were fantastic ,pacey and hard hitting.
