Weird Earth

Awesome visuals, good vibes in general, and all around just enjoyable to have on in the background.

Much better than a typical "cops" show, but with a similar mystery being solved, and much nicer visuals.

I don't understand as to why it's not on DVD? This show has shown stuff I haven't even seen before on TV. I saw this on a local station called "this" It's a great show it really breaks up and offers a program unlike all the other stuff on tv right now. I am glad it offers a possible reasoning too. They really need to put the reruns on DVD I would definitely buy them. And please if they do ...they need to advertise that the show is now out on DVD so I can get them. I think someone needs to make a show like this on either weird humans, or animals. I know I would watch it. Plus one on weird jobs around the world. OH! And weird Architecture!

Echoing another poster, just looked up to watch a replication of a bridge that collapsed with no obvious reason. Ridiculous simulations with no bearing on the event, or bearing even on what they said they were trying to simulate. Did no one run the simulation BEFOR Ethey filmed it? I am a marketer but even I know that you can't simulate an underwater earthquake in a bathtub as the energy will be directed up due to the structure of the bathtub, instead of along the seafloor in a flat plane radius. This is not up to the standard of a high school science project and these people should stick to cosmetics reviews. I had such high hopes for the show.

One of the Best Shows on TV in a long time! Love the reviews, final, if known, answer, dramatizations. Commentary by all are excellent. Great family show. Just good to see what I call as a Good Old Fashion Show! Not only does it teach our kids, and Grandkids, but I learn from it also. Amazing what you can learn from a TV show! Would Love to see this show continued, made to DVD's. I am going to check and see if I can look up previous episodes and start a binge watch on it. This is definitely one of the best science shows I have seen in a while. It os a must see for those that like weird things you may not normally ever see!

The real phenomena covered by this series *could* have made for a great show, if they'd just stuck to the facts, raw footage, and scientific explanations. But no. Like other Weather Channel series, this show's producers treat the audience like they are either small children or too dumb to appreciate science, so they augment all of the raw photos and videos with fake sound effects, stock footage of people running and screaming, clips literally taken from movie scenes, and interviews with a wide variety of scientists, pseduo-scientists, conspiracy theorists, and charismatic, uneducated individuals who offer nothing more than ridiculous, middle-school theories about what *could* be an explanation a small portion of a video clip that the viewer can see with their own eyes that the theory doesn't even match was was recorded.

I would love for them to have a made a serious show about these phenomena with serious scientific analysis. But instead, I can feel my IQ dropping while watching this. This is one of those rare shows that is more enjoyable by muting it and skipping past the discussions. They are that bad.
