This Movie The "PSYCHIC" This Movie Is SO Bad, How Bad? It Is So Bad That It's Good, Why Good, Good Because It Is Very, And I Do Mean VERY Realistic, It Happens Everyday, Good Girl, Wrong Guy.. Then The Daughter Is THICK, How Thick, Thicker Than Thicker Than MA Dukes.

There is no subtleness to the writing or execution with this one. Characters often do not behave or talk like real human beings and it does not help the atmosphere of the narrative if that was the intention. The film is a first time feature for the director and it shows. Filmmaker has very little skills at setting tone. However, credit is given for movie's economic approach with its use of dialogue and scenes to move plotline along for the most part. Also, with short running time of the film the pacing is not too bad. The acting is below average from all members of the cast. Audio and visual technical aspects show obvious low budget of film. Music constantly playing underneath scenes can be distracting. I actually laughed at the ridiculousness of this flick, which made the experience not so bad but I would NEVER recommend it to anyone lol.

Right, well as I sat down to watch the 2020 thriller "The Psychic", I must admit that my expectations were slim to none. And I hadn't even heard about this movie from writer and director Silk White prior to now in 2021, when I stumbled upon the movie by sheer random chance. Of course, not having already seen the movie, I opted to sit down and give it a go.

And let me just tell you that "The Psychic" is bad. It is terribly bad. In fact, the movie was so bad that I actually stuck with it to the bitter end, because I wanted to see just what level of lousy could be achieved here.

The acting in the movie was wooden and rigid, and the dialogue was delivered with the enthusiasm of someone having been forced to sit in a room and watch paint drying. Wow, it was really awful.

Now, it should be said that the storyline was actually not all that bad. But it was made terrible by horrible acting performances and laughable delivery of the poorly written dialogue.

Luckily "The Psychic" is not a movie that relies heavily on special effects. In fact, there were very few special effects in the movie. And they were special, oh yes indeed. The added-in fire was so bad that I couldn't stop laughing. And it didn't help much that three out of three fires were started with lighters that need to have someone pressing down a button on it. So as soon as the finger was removed, the flame went out - and it also did that on the screen. Yet, it still managed to set ablaze the gasoline. Not once. Not twice. But three times throughout the movie. And then there was the scene where someone was shot up close and personal. Wow. Are you kidding me? The gun wasn't even aimed in the direction of the person.

Sure, I didn't expect "The Psychic" to be much of a winner. But this is really a lousy and laughable movie. If you enjoy bad B-movies, then you might actually find something enjoyable in "The Psychic".

There was a very amateur and home-movie project feel to the cinematography. And the sound was just atrocious. Some scenes the sound was rather loud, whereas in the next scene it would be quite muted. It just made it feel like a home video.

My rating of this 2020 thriller lands on a very generous two out of ten stars, as the storyline actually had potential. Just a shame that it was brutally slaughtered by the acting performances and the dialogue.

As i am interested in good movies and psychics i thought why not?

BUt what a terrible movie and what a terrible acting(i bet the actors are no real actors) it was just a horror to watch the people act.even to qualify this as a b movie would be to generous!!.after 10 minutes i was done with it and shut it off..waste of time for those 10 minutes.
