Recipe for Abduction

*** Saw it as "My daughter's Deadly Date" ***

This was the usual LMN mystery, with an interesting (if not a bit silly) plot twist thrown in. I was guessing who was the villain until about 30 minutes before the end.

Of course, this was set in the "Lifetime Universe" where I had to question.....

1. The character of Grace being a 17 year old. She looked like she graduated college and was ready for the workplace.....

2. Eve being Grace's mother? (Looks like she either had a lift or several spa days).

3. Bella's nails or more correctly FANGS. How can she function with those things???

Note on production - The music was annoying at times, and the camera work seemed needlessly "artsy".

Eve is a chef who along with her husband, James, are opening a new upscale restaurant. Grace, their daughter, is covering the social media for it but ends up missing and Eve goes to find her!!! The movie was OK but the music was awfully loud!!! Worth a watch.....

I don't think I'll be able to finish this movie because of how obnoxious and entitled Grace is. She stomps around like she owns the restaurant. The previous reviewers are correct. Her lip fillers are out of control and her face barely moves when she talks. She and the actress play the mom have both have work done to their faces but the mom looks much better. The daughter looks mid-thirties.

The mom needed to take that phone from her daughter and toss it out.

I might watch a little more just to see Martin Kove's son. He seems to have a lot of charisma.

I'm guessing the daughter has simply run off to get more plastic surgery or grab a bite to eat since she looks like she hasn't eaten in a few months. Maybe that's why she's so awful to everyone.

Really all the needs to be said is.. What do you expect? It's a Lifetime(LMN)movie. Lol.

Over the top & unrealistic locations,storylines & characters.

Acting average & everyone looks older than indicated,especially the teens.. Between the makeup,clothes & fake nails.

Music & cinematography typical,so not worth watching again.

Not too bad but a tad dramatic!!

The daughter looked like she was about 30 and have lip fillers with added gloss 😂 Grace had the face and attitude I've never get fed up of slapping!!! Saying that, I hate people being on their phones all the time( apart from writing reviews!) If I'd have spoken to my mum or anyone like that, I'd deserve a face smash!

The extremely loud music is ridiculous, blasting out like billio.

Not bad for a rainy Tuesday afternoon and a day off, but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it.

Not exactly a difficult guess to whodunnit, in fact, I was hoping she wouldn't come back after her ordeal 🤣🤣😀😀
