Eyes of Wakanda

Really good story and fight scenes from start to finish . All the characters designs just catch the eye the second their let on the screen . A well animated series with very realistic fast paced action . This is enjoyable for people who love animation and for those who have followed the movies before .

Marvel Studios' Eyes Of Wakanda is a four-part anthology series, with each episode following a different Wakandan War Dog during different time periods. With the nice animation, good action, well thought-through stories and interesting characters, it's a moderately entertaining mini-series that expands nicely on the lore of the Wakanda in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It may not necessarily be a good series, but it's definitely enjoyable. Unfortunately, there are way better ways to pass a couple of hours, and the contents of this series could quite easily be summarised in a 60-second video on YouTube or TikTok. Because of this, I wouldn't recommend it to casual fans. I'd only suggest that you watch it if you're a hardcore fan of the MCU, or you're a fan of Marvel Comics (because Episode 3 made me very happy as someone that's been a life-long fan of a particular mystical character).

Every episode feels like an ancient legend retold with modern fire. The action? Top tier. The background score? It gives literal chills - like goosebumps level.

But beyond the visuals, Eyes of Wakanda hits emotionally too. It shows the weight carried by the Wakandan warriors who had to travel across time and continents, risking everything to protect Vibranium. You start feeling their burden, their pride, and their unbreakable loyalty to their people.

And bro... the lore? WILD. This series adds so much depth to the Black Panther universe. Every fan who thought they knew Wakanda is about to get humbled. And yes - the cameos and tie-ins? Absolutely satisfying.

This isn't just a Marvel show. It's a cultural and emotional ride that honors the strength of Wakanda, the brilliance of its protectors, and the legacy of T'Challa.

Eyes of Wakanda is one of those rare Marvel ventures that stops you in your tracks not because of big explosions or flashy cameos, but because it's unapologetically beautiful and deeply thoughtful. From the opening sequence, it felt less like a cartoon and more like a living, breathing piece of art. The show leans into a hand painted animation style inspired by Ernie Barnes and Dean Cornwell, creating visuals that critics describe as "a moving painting" that truly honors Wakanda's soul.

Across its four episodes, each story shines: Episode One's mission to Crete is high stakes and emotionally resonant; Episode Three's ancient Iron Fist arc connects legacy and mythology in a way that feels earned, not forced. I found myself fully immersed in the moral dilemmas-loyalty vs duty, isolation vs expansion-that feel like Black Panther elevated to its most cerebral form.

Some critics pointed out pacing issues and storytelling shortcuts due to the short format and they're right. A few arcs, especially in the middle, feel undercooked and don't get the emotional payoff they deserve. But the finale ties it all together beautifully, exploring legacy and sacrifice and literally weaving in Black Panther lore in a smart, satisfying callback - a payoff that made my heart skip a beat.

It's frustrating knowing this four episode miniseries is getting unjust one star reviews from people who only hate downvote because of the lead characters, not because they watched. That noise doesn't reflect what this story is doing. Eyes of Wakanda shows that Marvel still knows how to deliver emotionally rich, intelligent storytelling through animation.

This isn't just filler content-it's a bold experiment that pays off and shows what Marvel can do when it leans into art, history, and cultural weight instead of chasing trends. I came away feeling both inspired and hungry for more.

Rating: 9/10 ambitious, beautiful, insightful. Eyes of Wakanda sets a new standard for what animated Marvel stories can and should be.

I don't know what to say about it. It's pretty mid and doesn't really have anything that immediately draws the eye. Marvel probably just did this to use it as a cash graphics. Nothing too special. Nothing too bad. Just mid. But it's a 3 because it doesn't really make you want to keep watching. It's something you'd forget about in a day. Just watch the black panther movies.
