Gerald, with an R-Rah Grabs Your Heart!
After watching the trailer, I waited with great anticipation for this movie's release; I was not disappointed! From the very beginning, Gerald, with R-Rah captures your heart! Gerald's Hands is a movie that is unafraid to tackle real-life issues and do so unapologetically and authentically!
People are usually called "change agents" well, I see Gerald's Hands as a "change-agent" movie because it highlights issues (Autism, Domestic Violence, and Bullying) we can no longer keep silent. The film also encouragingly opens up much-needed dialogue, and dialogue sets the course for action. Gerald's Hands is a triple-threat film that entertains, brings awareness, and inspires action! You will fall in love with Gerald and have "awe" moments throughout the film. Andrew R. McCallister did an outstanding job as Gerald! That's all my husband, and I kept saying throughout the movie! Kudos to Nadira Pankey for writing a compelling story with boldness while tackling such sensitive issues with care and grace! Kudos to this incredibly talented cast for doing an amazing job!

As a social worker that has worked with those who are on the autism spectrum, I am happy to write a very positive review for the film, Gerald's Hands. The film is not only excellent as far as the actors in the film, particularly Andrew R. McCallister, who plays Gerald, but also in the positive image that the film portrays about those that have dedicated their life in supporting and encouraging and helping those that are young and old who are similar to Gerald.
The film is fast paced but does not shy away from looking at the ups and downs that are a part of human life and that are a part of Gerald's life. I recommend Gerald's Hands to all without reservation.

This movie is so touching! I think there needs to be more movies like this that really touch on issues in communities that would not ordinarily get attention. In this movie I see it opening up a dialogue and some much needed eye opening to issues like bullying and domestic violence and more importantly the issue of loss and grief. Thank you for this. The world will thank you for this. I highly recommend this to any lover of movies and any lover of life and inspirational stories in real life. Thank you thank you thank you! This touched home for me bringing up so many feelings and memories. #IamGeraldToo.
The spirit of God is present in this movie. Gerald's Hands will touch you deeply. It will make you feel human. I cried watching it. Your heart will feel for the character Gerald in a special way because special people do extraordinary things. It's no surprise because the creator Nadira Pankey and the star Andrew R. McCallister are extraordinary people. From watching this movie, I hope that more people will lead with kindness, and understand that being autistic isn't a disability. It's a superpower! Gerald's Hands is a movie about humanity and love. It's a movie combating bullying. This is a movie that celebrates good over evil, right over wrong. It's a story that highlights a superhero in Gerald. We are all superheroes, and we are all capable of being good people. Vote for Gerald and watch it on Tubi because it's the right thing to do, plus it's free. : )
Gerald's Hands is by far one of the most compelling films I've seen a long time. This is a film that will make you cry, laugh, love, and smile. It was brilliantly written, and the actors... whew... breathtaking and phenomenal! I LOVE THIS MOVIE, and my sons love it too (they especially love Gerald)! As a mother who has a child with autism, it never occurred to me what life would be like for an adult with autism, until watching Gerald's Hands. This movie not only shares awareness as it pertains to autism, but it reminds us that we all deserve to be loved. Please take a moment to watch this film, I promise you will love it, the way my family and I did!
