NHL 21

As a kid I loved playing NHL 08 with my comrades. When I heard NHL 21 was coming out I gathered the squad together and decided to try out the game mode "EASHL". The premise sounded great and I was left mesmerized by the graphics and rendering of the mountains and trees in the background. But after 7 months of playing this game I am left HORRIFIED, so let's list the problems. 1) At least 1-2 of my teammates lag out every game. 2) The AI have the intelligence of a 45 overall player. 3) 30-45 second black screen pauses in the middle of the game. 4) Terrible matchmaking. 5) Horrible lag and internet spikes. 6) Many glitches including goalies flying over the ice and many more. This is the WORST video game of all time. I have lost many friends to insanity because of this game including LeChase McAllen who's gone senile due to this games "Franchise Mode". But hey, at least there's Hut Rush :)

Career mode is garbage and a major downgrade. One of the most anticipated modes this year and it was a huge letdown. EA promoted the fact there is a story line and cut scenes but it is just a time waster. Cut scenes are too long and repetitive. Thanks to the cutscenes it takes about 20 mins to simulate a season in be a pro. Also, if you get injured, you cannot see what the injury is or how long you will be out for. You also cannot see any teams cap space. I would give be a pro a 3/10. Franchise mode I'd say is the best mode but still needs some work. I've created super teams and miss the playoffs and vice versa. Goalie ratings mean nothing and real time sim compared to regular sim produce different results. Overall I would give the mode a 5/10. The gameplay itself is decent. The AI still makes stupid mistakes but is a improvement from NHL 20. 6/10 On gameplay.
