Here's my two cents about Be Quiet, a micro short horror story that portrays two kids encountering a sinister force in their home at night.
First, it's clear from the very first second that the cinematography is excellent. I also felt like this could easily be expanded into a full-length horror movie-it even gave off the vibe of a high-end music video.
Second, the acting by both kids was surprisingly strong. They were key to creating the unsettling atmosphere and the sense that something is deeply wrong-and possibly deadly. Their facial expressions and body movements were especially important, given that there's no dialogue in the film.
Third, the short actually left me with more questions than answers. While it's understandable that a four-minute runtime can't cover everything, I was genuinely puzzled by the ending. I think the story would have benefited from just a bit more clarity or explanation in the final moments.
