I hate to think what would've happened if they'd kept the theme of a bookshop instead of changing to a coffee shop.
I think the caffeine was the only thing to keep even the actors from falling asleep!
It's a good thing they removed the dog humping his leg, like at the end of you've got mail!
Certainly no issues with sleeping, so no fear of being a prequel to you've got mail...
I always thought the extravagant excesses shown in the 1998 version were unnecessary with the boats, but maybe this showed why it was necessary.
Perhaps they should've just doubled at the start! Would've saved everyone some time.

Really boring.,. Can't say much more. Boring. Silly premise. No chemistry between actors. Just olain dumb and BORING. UpTV needs to find new writers and stop thing to be Hallmark. Even as bad as Hallmark has become lately, you'll never get there.
They took all the lines from the movie 'You've got mail". It was a cute movie but it was weird to see all the similarities with that movie "You've got mail" they could have found they own lyrics.
7.7 stars.
By "lame", I mean in a fun way, like when you tease someone who is being silly and you say "stop being so lame" all the while, a grin on your face.
Is this a knock off? Sure, but it's more about kismet. She owns a coffee shop called Kismet Coffee. The story revolves around two people that keep coming in contact by fate. Honestly, it gets out of hand, nobody has that much coincidental running into each other. And to have everything else in common so intertwined and happenstance, and lucky, nah...but they do work near each other, so why not just use that as the gimmick? Whatever. It's misappropriated randomness, that's all.
However, I do like the movie. It's an UP Network attempt to copycat 'You've Got Mail', as previously mentioned by multiple reviewers. It's a beaten-to-death aspect (just read any other review), however I still like it. I'm not expecting a miracle or out of this world originality, I just wanna be entertained. I want to feel some romance in my bones while watching two actors bring the chemistry, or fail miserably at it...to be transported to a magical realm of love for 2 hours. I don't need to dissect it, I'm here for fun and enjoyment, not for intellectual stimulation, philosophical discussion, or film literature 101. It's a two-bit sentimental fiction love story, not a doctoral dissertation on how a film mocks another, or a commentary on the social norms of online dating. As long as the acting is fine, the editing and direction and music harmonize, and it's entertaining and makes you tingly - good stuff.
The acting is somewhat stiff and awkward at times, but I feel there's a connection between the leads. Look past the uncomfortable interactions, you'll see an endearing quirkiness between two overachieving, over-thinkers, rather than lack of talent. It's an enjoyable movie.

This is like the 3rd trailer I've watched from this franchise that has trailers that include the movies ending shot. So I'll just put in the review. They kiss in the end without checking the box for yes it contains a spoiler.
