I came to find this on Netflix and watched it as I recognized Shen Yue. Shen Yue is an amazing actress out of mainland China, and this drama made me love her talent event more. I've watched a few of her other dramas. She can carry a scene so well. I would describe her as emotional and relatable - she MAKES the drama. Don't forget that Chinese criteria for dramas are different from everywhere else so they follow strict guidelines. Also, I don't know what nonsense there is about her acting the same roles. Ive watched people act the same roles all the time. Shen Yue has had diverse characters. She is an actress not. Pop star. She knows how to deliver a scene at such a young age still... I can't wait to see more of her work. I love that she is a unique beauty in China. Alot of Idols try to have that classic look and end up all looking the same. Yue is a natural beauty with angular features, an elegant jawline, big beautiful shining eyes and a very real true to herself personality. Jasper Liu and Shen Yue have a bomb shell chemistry here. Watch the drama! They story line and script carried very well. Great directing.
I cried, laughed and couldnt look away All cast were fabulous. A true gem. Highly recommend. And omg so funny too, ty cast, great job. Loved every bit of it.
This is a lighthearted, sweet romantic series with three beautiful couples. Beautiful on the inside and outside.
In this series there is no suspense, no difficult side stories, just three stories about falling in love. Beware, they fall in love within a blink of an eye. The ML and FL are very cute together.
The lovely, sweet moments start from the first episodes. You don't have to wait until half of the series to see some affection. There are a lot of kissing scenes. It is sweetness all over.
I love the strong, positive and warm character of the FL.
One minor: the way the relationship between the grandfather and Renqi changed overnight felt very unbelievable.
But to be honest, the whole series is a bit of a Cinderella story.
Some may find this kind of stories cheesy, but if you are into sweet stories totally evolving around love, you will without a doubt like this series very much.

As I got into this the story line seemed very familiar. Then one of the reviews here pinned it: If you've seen the Korean series "Clean With Passion for Now" you'll already know the basic theme of this series. There are some story differences, but the basic theme is identical.
I really like RomComs, so when I say that the romance overload in this would throw a diabetic into a super-sugar coma, I'm not exaggerating. There are three romances going on at the same time, in pretty much the same "laced with problems" manner.
If the viewer loves repeated kissing scenes, this series should suffice abundantly.
Basically this is a 12-episode series done in a long, drawn-out 24 episodes. Much of it is interesting, but there are several bits in which I found myself looking at the time to see how much longer the episode was going to go on. Some parts are more than a little drawn out.
I'm not the only reviewer to note this: the chemistry between the two lead characters just doesn't quite catch. The female lead does a great job, but the male is pretty two-dimensional. And the dialog just goes on... especially in the final episode. Just how long can a profession of love take and when are they going to move on? I enjoy romance series, but there's only so much saccharine script one can handle.
In addition there were "itchy" points throughout the series. First we have a psychiatrist who might be accused of malpractice and lose his license for messing with his client's head like he did. He did everything BUT help his client... all out of selfish motive. Then there's the question that (in the U. S. -- I dunno about China), the entire story might bring up questions of workplace sexual harassment. (I note others mention the same thing.) When conducting a workplace romance-- especially if you're the CEO-- one must tread VERY carefully. There are corporate guidebooks on such matters. This is really tricky legal ground.
So okay, it's an imperfect script. Admittedly most series have some issues. Just be prepared for this going in. This is a long series with a whole lot of filler and some incredibly bad dialog in places. In other places it's a lot of fun. I found the actors and characters interesting and the bad guys properly rotten. But a couple of times I actually fell asleep during some of the slower drag-along moments. That's never a good thing.
It's worth a watch, but if you've already seen the Korean version there's really no need to bother.

There's so many this type of c dramas that when I first watching I thought I would just skip most of this drama just like I did in last few c dramas. But there's something different and excellent about this drama. I quite don't know what but I was hooked and watched till episode 22 cz last 2 episodes didn't air then.
I found it weird that at just episode 3 he realised he liked her but took so longggg to confess episode 12! But the accidental escalator kiss will be epic forever!
I loved fact that there's 3 couples in this cdrama. I haven't watched the korean version of this yet so I can't compare but I love this one though! Worth a binge watch!
