I rented this on VUDU for a family movie night, and all of us very much enjoyed it! For a production of this budget it has a good amount of action, with a cast who gives it their all and quite a few surprising bits of humor. 'Sirona' has elements reminiscent of an ensemble action film like 'The Losers', but it has even closer comparisons to TV shows like 'Firefly'. It feels like a pilot episode of a series rather than a feature film, with an ending that is more of a setup for a sequel than a resolution of the mystery surrounding the title character - but it does a good job of making you want to see where the next installment leads. Cast and crew should be proud of what they've done here, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the filmmaker does next after this laudable debut effort.
Was a colossal waste of time, with glaring issues in almost every aspect. From terrible camera angles to an incoherent script, there wasn't a single redeeming feature to hold onto. Let's break it down:
Camera Work (1/5): The angles are atrocious. The filmmakers seem to have no idea how to frame a shot, constantly using awkward and unflattering angles that detract from any scene. It feels like someone picked up the camera for the first time and hit "record" without thinking about perspective or visual storytelling.
Script (0/5): The script is disjointed and lacks flow. There's no coherence from one scene to the next, making it impossible to follow the story (if there even is one). It's like a random collection of poorly written dialogue strung together, with no sense of structure or pacing. The lines themselves are cringe-worthy, often feeling forced and unnatural.
Actors (1/5): The actors? Completely unconvincing. They don't just lack talent-they also seem disinterested in what they're doing. There's no chemistry, no emotion, and worst of all, they're stiff and awkward. These are clearly not professional actors, and it shows in every scene.
Direction (0/5): The director seems to have no clue what they're doing. There's a complete lack of vision or leadership here. The scenes are poorly staged, and the lack of direction leaves the entire production feeling aimless and chaotic.

Weaving backstory and character development into a plot, and doing it well, is a skill that needs to be honed. Wesley Clark needs to stop grinding with the rough stuff and find a finer stone to hone the dull blade that wrote this screenplay into something sharp and incisive. As is, the movie drags in many places where it should simply shine. The plot has plenty of potential to make a great movie, but the long, in-depth pshrinkological (sic) dialog is just a little too... blah. I'd love to see a sequel, but I have to wonder if the mediocrity of this one killed any chance it had at becoming what it should be.
You have to go into this knowing it might be a concept you've heard before, but he did really well making it his own. For this film to be one of his firsts I was extremely impressed. I thought it would be on and I'd be on my phone but nope. I was sucked in! Tuck was actually my favorite character, I love a good comedic relief! I caught myself laughing out loud multiple times by his character. I loved the twist and it kept me engaged through the whole thing. I was bummed when it ended because i wanted to see more! I'd love to see more from him and would love to see a sequel to this one! A great watch, I'd recommend!
This movie in my opinion is highly unwatchable. I tried watching it for a first few movies and then I found a way to see whether it's worth my time.
Fast Forwarding movie to random scenes: I had an opportunity to fast forward movie to select some random scenes to see whether the acting improves. To no surprise scenes are unwatchable.
Why I stopped watching this: The reason is simple - flat acting, poor budget, cheap looking and hastily selected environment for filming. There is nothing redeemable about how actors play.
I understand perfect that it is basically a hobby project a movie made by amateurs for amateurs. It's Simply not worth it.
Try to fast forward to random scenes and see whether you like it.
